No. Each states and cities have their own median. That's just the rate of housing in SF. That is already cheap for San Fran standards. My co-workers who are younger still renting apartment, they pays between $3,000 - $5,500 per month for that. Other cities that have similar rates to SF are Los Angeles, San Diego, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Seattle, Washington DC, Honolulu, Oakland, and Boston.

It is crazier in Manhattan, be prepare to pay up to $10,000 per month for apartment rental. Especially in popular district like Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Financial District...

We can't look at raw numerical data when comparing housing markets. You need to look at what percentage of your monthly income goes towards your mortgage or rent.

U can buy a small flat (40m2) for 350000 $ in Manhattan. Maybe you and your co-workers are rich, but there are so many people with low rents 😂

I knew for a long time she got engaged from seeing the ring, it's so beautiful, and we all know she is about the music and NOT THE BLING. I don't think she cares how much it's worth cash wise, it's a symbol of her and Christian's love and promises to each other (yeah, I'm cheesy) :kara:

Chromatica will live on forever.

"It looks like it may be a Padparadscha sapphire, in which case this ring would easily retail between $300,000 and $400,000."

That would take me two lifetimes to make that kind of money :vegas:
