Luxe Ford 3,481 Posted October 13, 2018 Share Posted October 13, 2018 Not only did Gaga wear the last dress and Armadillo shoes of the show Pluto Atlantis for the Bad Romance video, she also borrowed the Born This Way face sculpting from the show. I never noticed them before! The show also closed with Bad Romance (I think before it was released?) If he hadn't tragically ended his life I believe they would have kept on inspiring each other to this day. I have watched a lot of McQueen, Isabella Blow and Daphnee Guiness videos lately and see so much of their style in Lady Gagas DNA. Here's a brilliant documentary on the subversive genius of Lee and Issy. You will age seventy minutes watching it, but for me it was worth it. Killa 14,593 Posted October 13, 2018 Share Posted October 13, 2018 Mcqueen was just out of this world, it is not my fav collection but damn its so modern and summarises his work in a really ready to wear way brilliantly. and the way he arranged and deconstructed the upper body, that was still hot for at least some 6 more seasons lol.
