:/ i knew i wasn't mad for thinking she was depressed, she was telling us something when she performed princess die. i may not agree with everything she does but I'm so proud of her, she's the underdog was bullied, called the ugly girl now look at her, she's a beautiful glamorous singer, with a beautiful heart (very rare) whos doing vogue covers. It's just the price of fame, she knew what she was getting into, it's just about staying true to who you are i guess?

I think the friend, now she's opened up a bit more, is Luc, and the mentor/co-worker is obvious who that b---h is.

The single she's talking about is BTW. It's clearly been the biggest make-or-break of her career, and although she had honest and wholesome intentions with it, the whole world tore it apart. I believe that she'll come to terms with it at some point as being positive controversy - nothing could've brought that song more attention after all the hype than the controversy it got... hell, it's still making some article headlines, even now!

I do think, however, that she's going to be leaving Interscope sooner rather than later if they keep up their battles with her. Sure they're good at promo, but she knows what she's doing by now, and she can clearly do all the work without their help - I wouldn't blame her if she moved to another label as soon as she can, even if it means paying off her current contract. She should be allowed to control her own single releases etc - it's not the record label's career they're messing with, it's hers. They just take their money and that's it.

She's more leanient than I would be, though. If they refused my single choice I'd be like "ok, fine.". On talk shows I'd constantly talk about how much of a great song the one I wanted was, and how the video would've been amazing. I would then perform that song. At the end of the day, you can't control a person like a puppet, Gaga needs to rebel.

Bless her. It really did sound like she went through some dark times last year, and on top of all the media scrutiny...damn. What a strong woman.

BTW will always be the album of my lifetime, even if ARTPOP is better. It means so much to me.

And it pains me to know that Gaga suffered during this time in her life, but hopefully things are truly turning around for her.

i want this heartbreak to be on the album. if she, after just saying how much she's gone through the last year or so, goes and releases an album full of happy, fun dance songs, i'm gonna be really pissed. i wish she could just open up and have songs that are actually personal. i mean, she has a few on each record, but she could get soooo much more personal and do so much better. oh well.

This is why I love her.

During the BTW era I thought she was struggling with very depressing thoughts, even people who don't know much about her agreed that she seemed very low during the era.

It's sad that she had to deal with all the crap thrown her way but I think she has learned a lot from this. I respect her so much for being so open and addressing it.
