I cannot relate to Gaga anymore

i think everyone needs to stop complaining about how born this way ended and be grateful that it happened

i mean yes it was a dream come true for many people who needed Born This Way but you can't let the nostalgia ruin the rest of whatever she's doing

i would rather see her doing different things all the time because born this way really is about the discovery of your potential as a human being so in that way everything she does is Born This Way

i rest my case.

I feel that it's the complete opposite. She seems more relaxed in her recent interviews for Beats1, GMA and Stephen Colbert. She seems more sure of herself and not as awkward anymore and that's a good thing. She still has that sass in Stephen Colbert and the rocker attitude in Beats1 interviews. She's just pulling out different sides to her depending on which interview she is doing, for different audience. That's professionalism in my opinion.

I am also in need of more OriginalGa.

I sa A Star Is Born yesterday, and liked it but I just want to see her in a forerunning context once again. A remake Hollywood movie with diva-esque ballads doesn't take me further in my imagination. And Gaga was all about the frontier of imagination!

Honestly, the Superbowl is proof that she can still do that if she chooses to. I'm sure in her future albums, if she's inspired, she'll give us that alien electric goddess persona. So just go with the ride and experience different facets of her career. That's more exciting than just one persona all the time.

That's how works. Promoting a movie is different than promoting an album. And the target is the general audience. If you want to see some interesting chat in this era watch this out.

Hi there, I do understand what you're saying :) But me as a Gaga fan since 2009,I am 23 now, and still can relate to her. My point is, maybe it has something to do with the age too. Again, "maybe". Because as time goes by, she grows as an artist and acquire the maturity that she has now, same with her fans with the age range near mine and/or older. IDK,just my thoughts :)  :runhug:

Not to be rude but once you become more mature, you'll understand why she had to do it

Please hear me out. Her performance is THE ERA... not just the music. Ally is not confident and sassy and gaga in the film. Ally is still inside of Gaga right now and she is bringing the performance of the movie to her interviews. In her next era, if she chooses to do so, she will become the sassy bad a** gaga you love and relate to.

Most people follow Gaga for her music and entertainment, and can relate to her differently over time.

I'm in a different situation, where I always relate to Gaga.  I look past her stage personas to the person underneath.  That person is always remarkable, always finding ways to help others, always kind, and always leading by her own good example.  That person is largely unknown to most people, because she doesn't brag about her good deeds and doesn't use them to enhance her image.  That person's legacy will live on, long after pop music is forgotten.  She lives within the lives she has touched, the lives she has saved, the lives she has made better, and the people she has shown the way to kindness, and in the lives of the descendants of all those people.  Her impact on a personal level is forever.

I live outside the space time continuum.

It’s ok. Gaga more then most follows her artistic muses.  Not everything she does will be for everyone. As a middle aged straight dude, BTW thematically was not for me, although the dark electronic was up my alley. But I’ll let the people who the lyrics were targeted for have that album, and I appreciate her intent. Taylor swift may change sound but her intent never shifts, same with Katy.  Real change is expected with Gaga, it comes with the territory.

I didnt like Evita and American life era from M too! They are great, but not for my taste!

Joanne and ASIB era is what I am not interested! I love more crazy Gaga, but I understand she needs to do other things!

But this all will change! I hope

Maybe it's because you're only 15 and you don't fully understand the way everything works yet. I'm not trying to be rude, but as an adult, you go through phases. There will be times when you are completely spontaneous and rebellious, and it's typically when you're in your early 20s. As you get older, you learn hard lessons about different things. Relationships, your career, people you thought you trusted, people who pass on..All this molds you and shapes you. To expect Gaga to be the way she was when she was 19 or 20, is really far fetched and a little disrespectful. Gaga is in her early 30s now. She is still young, but she has a much stronger grip on herself, as well as herself as an artist and her purpose in this world. It happens to every, single person. Some poeple at different paces. But to have this expectation that she should always be the way YOU want her to be is not realistic.

Anyway, she is promoting a movie right now, as a serious role. It's a huge role in which the main character not only acts in different dynamics, but sings in different dynamics as well. It screams Oscar. She will bend her personality to be more approachable and to promote this film. It's like campaigning. You see the same answers in her interviews because you are a fan and watch a lot, if not all of her appearances. The average non fan may see her once or even twice in these appearances. This is a script that they all follow when promoting films or albums. They all do it. It's not a gaga Thing. IT's just how it works.

One day you will understand a little better.

Honestly... Since C2C and Joanne I've never related to her more. She is so authentic and real now. Before she seemed like an untouchable god, now she seems like my friend.

Honestly same. That Vogue Questions interview rubbed me the wrong way. She was like this rich posh English woman and not the quirky goofy and awkward person I fell in love with.

I’m glad she’s growing up, but you’re not alone OP. At least this is insanely irrelevant tbh.
