Femme Fatale cuz I mean wasn’t Witness Katy’s ARTPOP Era?

:ohwell:

nope, ARTPOP US sales outsold witness WW sales and Applause spent 2 months top 10 while CTTR didn't even spend 3 weeks top 10. ARTPOP is way bigger than Witness so no, Witness is not her ARTPOP era :ohwell:

Femme Fatale.

FF:

1.4m sales WW

Witness:

800K WW.

-Lead singles:

Hold it against me.

#1 on the hot 100, 1.6M sales US.

CTTR.

#4 hot 100, 1M.

second single:

Til the world ends.

#3 hot 100, 3M sales US.

Bon appetit.

#56 hot 100, 500K sales US.

I'm over it tbh lmao femme fatale is bigger, I wanna go sold 2m while swish swish only 160k

@VoldeLorde2 @KevinLeto @enigmaunicorn why did you guys voted for witness, are you trolling us? FF had two WW hits and they out-peaked every witness single in the US    :messga:

I didn't know all the statistics and I don't remember anything about FF by Brit at the time of its release. I knew about Witness so I thought it was a bigger era FOR ME. I did know that HIAM was very frontloaded and that's all I remembered. Sorry, I fixed my mistake now that I'm educated.

Definitely FF.

But if we compare Witness to Glory, who's bigger? I don't have the stats but I'd say Witness felt bigger to me, maybe because it was more promoted.

Femme Fatale. HIAM and TTWE were massive on the club scene here and on radio. CTTR was a decent hit tbh. But FF was definitely bigger than Witness.

Witness was definitely bigger than Glory. I havent heard a new Britney song on the radio in the UK since Work Bitc*s radio edit Work Work sadly. I still hear Baby, Oops! Toxic and Everytime a fair bit on fm tho. And occasionally Womanizer, Scream And Shout and Piece Of Me. On a side note. Piece Of Me was big here it got to number 2 and had great longevity. The UK loved the Blackout era!!!

Glory deserved better. It's among her best albums imo. But yeah I haven't heard a Britney song since Hold it against me in my country. Thank god they do play Gaga often here <3

By comparing Witness to Femme Fatale, are you saying that Witness was a success? The audacity...

I love both Britney and Katy but Witness is clearly more successful than both Glory and Britney Jean.

Glory did deserve better. Thats good that they play gaga often. I hear Gaga on the radio quite often but i wish they played some of her later singles. On the radio in the UK i only ever here Just Dance Poker Face Paparazzi Bad Romance and The Edge Of Glory nowadays. I like Slumber Party too, but it does sound a bit odd for a grown woman to sing about a Slumber Party so i guess thats why. I wish Change Your Mind was a single too i love that.

Femme Fatale >>

it's a shame britney didn't seem into the era though and seemed unhappy/majorly anxious

Maybe she felt threatened by the other pop girls like Gaga, Katy and Rihanna who had major success in 2009 and 2010 and 2011 and the industry changed so much between the Circus era and FF era, it must have been nerve wracking for her to try and fit into the scene that was so heavily dominated by very succesful pop girls. But Britney thrived with FF, edm really suited her and she kept it britneyesque still. I believe FF era was when Britney became a true legend.
