I find it so sad to see all those people on Twitter "stanning" Gaga because she "slays" and is successful and not because they're actually interested in the work and art she is putting out.

That's what leads to what is happenning over Madonnanation, as the article explains well.

Gaga doesn't talk to us anymore because she realized we are toxic.

She's like a mother who realized she needs to kick her son out from her basement because he needs to get a life.  It's tough love but im sure she still cares.

I think she has got to a point in her career where she wants to focus on the artistic elements, such  as the music and photo shoots, the film etc. I think it’s less about the toxic stans.

like she says in 5f2 about her wanting everything to come from ‘that girl in the studio because that’s the gold’; she just wants to be ‘free’ I think and ride her horse, feed her chickens and promote ASIB. It’s nothing personal.

She achieved everything she ever wanted fame-wise. Now she just wants to focus on the things that matter to her -- and we're not one of them :vegas:

taking fifteen minutes of your day to go say hello to your fans on twitter it's not a big deal but maybe for some of them it is who knows.

Does this surprise anyone though? She doesn’t even like coming to this site, explicitly stating it’s “too negative”. Bobby even referred to the users on here as a bunch of trolls.

Stan culture is toxic, and Twitter and forums are a breeding ground for it. The sad part is that no one really stops it. You have Twitter which chooses to ignore the comments and remarks that people make. You have moderators of forums whom choose to silence those who speak up and allow people to speak ill and nasty of artists and each other.

It’s sad honestly. The catty jokes about people’s appearances and sales, shutting down everyone else’s opinions and calling them flops, and those in charge who instead of removing comments and helping to maintain a safe and positive environment, are all exactly why things are the way they are.

If I was Gaga, I wouldn’t come to this site either. Such a shame that it’s where so much News is found.

Yeah I don’t think people realize that the flippant crass **** they post on social media is actually ruining the experience for everyone. No one wants to scroll through Twitter and see a thousand random people sharing barely-thought out opinions about things they hardly understand. It’s a waste of time an space. She’s spending her energy on making interesting projects for her fans, and going online to “say hello” (as someone above me said) is just... silly. Are people that hard up for acknowledgment?

I mean I don’t blame her. People have, and still do, treat her like she’s their doll or prop. There are still hardcore Twitter “stans” that follow her from studio to studio and camp out there so they can forcibly hug her or snap a million selfies with her just to brag about it later and how they’re “tight with Stef”.

So I dont blame her for not interacting, because these aren’t organic interactions. It’s just weird idol worship at that point.

You are probably old has hell so it doesn't matter to you but there is young fans who would appreciate that i personally would enjoy her coming on twitter and do little sessions where she speak to us and also answering some question or some live on insta

Well to be honest Twitter probably isn't the best format to communicate with fans, because the trolls can be beyond crazy and you know she probably is just busy with life too. We arent really entitled to anything from her. After everything shes given us? No way.

I understand it was too much for her because fans can be too demanding and social media in general can be mentally draining.

What I do miss with her new overly stylized Instagram is that it makes her posts seem less sincere. The lack of spontaneity required to keep the look of the page perfect is a bit of a downer for me. It's not social anymore, more like a portfolio.

I don't need to know how she's feeling or what she's doing or eating every day, but I do miss the more raw realness her social media used to have.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
