why are there two diff versions of the scene in the two trailers?

can anyone who watched the movie confirm which scene actually made the final cut? cuz I absolutely LOVED the version in trailer 1, I loved how she said it and I loved how she raised her eyebrows when he said she was beautiful, the 2nd one has a life of its own too lol

did they change the final edit after they released the first trailer like what's up

Trailer editing doesn't necessarily show how a scene plays out, the eyebrow raising part is probably from a different interaction Gaga had with Bradley before or after he mentioned she was beautiful. They just needed a short response for the trailer most likely.

a lot of trailers are edited by a different studio while the movie is still in production, they are given the footage and don't know what will be in the final movie so that's why alternate takes and deleted scenes are often in trailers

The scene in the movie, as I recall it, it's just as the second version. It's sadly NOT as the trailer version, and I'm prettu sure cuz I was confused too I was hoping to see that scene just like thar with her moving her eyebrows and so on.

But actually there are a lot of scenes that are in the trailer (and even in the videos released today) that are not in the movie, like, wtf I know trailer are done way before final editing but gosh just let those damn scenes in the final cut... I was hoping so much to see certain scenes from the trailer them but they were cut

This happens a lot with trailers and the movie itself. They obviously shoot different takes during filming and they may use an alternative take or splice it together differently for the trailer. There are different reasons this could be done. Conciseness, misdirect, or they just want to save the real stuff for the movie so you don't feel like you've already watched the scene.

I think they just made it shorter for the trailer and both scenes made the final cut

Nah, it just plays out several times throughout the movie. So not exactly the same "scene", but it plays out a few times

What do you mean? There are multiple scenes about Ally saying her nose prevented her from being successful?

Trailers are often edited in a different way than what ends up in the final film. They're typically put together by the studio, not the filmmaker.

Trailers feature cut and edited footage that often gets reshaped and moved around to tell a condensed story with compelling images in as little time as possible. Sometimes trailers use footage that doesn't make it into the final cut of the film, but sometimes the footage is just in a different place in the scene (or movie).
