TheodoreRx 1,540
So for Gaga's first four major releases, Gaga was always facing the camera, facing the audience completely: So with Gaga's first two releases, Gaga is showing half of a whole of her face, likely representing the yin and yang of The Fame and The Monster, each is apart of the whole picture of Gaga's perception of fame. Now it seems Gaga is becoming more confident, sharing more of herself, showing her full face and eventually practically everything. With the release of BTW and AP, Gaga unveils many more layers of herself as a person and is no longer the mysterious figure she once was, becoming more public with her relationships and struggles. BTW and AP were Gaga at her most vulnerable, and this is shown through the covers. That brings us to Joanne and ASIB: With these albums Gaga only shows one side of her face. Could this mean this is a new side of Gaga? Or is Gaga now removing a layer of intimacy? As she is less interactive with fans and has moved into a new direction in her career where acting and other projects begin to become integral and music is still important but only one facet of Gaga? Amidana 4,267
We're finally seeing the side of Gaga we've never seen before.... Now for the other side
doppelganger 3,947
Except that in BTW she replaced her body with a motorcycle , and in ARTPOP that’s not even Gaga but a Koons statue of her. I would say these two covers show the least of Gaga as a person
WildSalome 999
I think the "yin and yang" aspect of TF and TFM are likely but I'm not sure about the others

Linus Gaga 8,270
Joanne looks hopeful and she is looking up, probably just mean that she is looking at her aunt in heaven Hit me a message and say hi !

AlexanderMagno 10,746
I think you’re theory is completely ruined when you reach Joanne. As for TF, TFM, BTW and AP, even though I’m not sure you’re totally right, it’s one way to see things and I’ve seen worst reaches. But when you talk about Joanne and ASIB, where she is supposed to be her most honest, down-to-earth self, where she is the most faithful to herself, I don’t think it makes any sense to have this kind of theory. The one side of her face is probably just because it looks better.
Drin Lon 7,875
Kinda agree Joanne isn't more honest than her other albums and that's the the t Also I love Joanne's album cover but I kinda wish she was smiling in it.

TeenIdle 126,607
Maybe it's the fact that she was naked from the waist up and it was easier to hide her b00bies from that angle 𝖓𝖊𝖜 𝖗𝖊𝖑𝖎𝖌𝖎𝖔𝖓
Akiki 3,900
I love how old this fanbase is and some stuff got lost in time. Gaga talked about this years ago (during TFM, I think). She just said that she hides something in ever cover (TF was her eyes and in contrast TFM hide the contrary. BTW hides her body and lefts her head only. ARTPOP shows her in full glory but its a statue and then Joanne... She hides One side of her) This doesnt apply do C2C. Theres is no theory here. It is the way she wants it to be. The older monsters may remember when she said it.
