The less lines the better :selena:

But really, didn’t he say she wasn’t attached to the project?

I'm guessing either the writer made a mistake and confused Clint Eastwood's script with it also being Bradley's or maybe Bradley told a white lie lol. I think maybe Bey was in talks to do Bradley's as well after Clint dropped the project but that Bradley didn't envision her in his version so he re cast the character because Bey was not his own casted actress. If that makes sense.

I feel like this isn't a Beyoncé drag, it's actually the opposite. As in she's saying like "I know Beyoncé already has a lot of lines but it's still not enough. Because... Beyoncé XD"

Yeah this is exactly what it means I think. Maybe it also means the focus was more on Bradley's character (which a lot of ppl were worried would happen because Bradley is directing and starring in the role).

Variety reported after Clint Eastwood left the project Beyonce dropped out soon after. Then Bradley Cooper decided he wanted to take on the project. Soon after he signed on he was very vocal Beyonce was never attached to his version of the film and not his first choice. Variety also reported Warner Bros decided before Bradley took over they didn't want Beyonce because she was asking a ridiculous fee of pay and they kinda were like yeah no that ain't happening we will find someone else.

She’s lost out big time judging where Gaga’s career is headed after all these rave reviews

so someone else wrote the script for her? :green:

Usually actors write their own lines in movies so this is pretty surprising

Beyonce is kinda already there though. She is in The Lion King next year, that will be big for her.

Even in this iteration, you can feel the focus more on Jackson, though it’s still more even than this sounds

But voice acting is easier than physical acting. So I feel Gaga's acclaim will be more deserved as she really is giving it her all

Eh it’s just a thing. Bear in mind that Beyonce is not Gaga in that she has acted before and Dreamgirls especially got her an award nom. I’m sure her fee was still wild, but she was by no means like if Gaga had asked for that. Plus, I think she’s moved on from acting by this point. It was never reall a huge desire of hers; it just seemed like a supplementary thing she did
