Berlin: BDS is a antisemitic and reason for rising antisemitism

The city-state of Berlin’s new intelligence report on Tuesday classified the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign targeting the Jewish state as part of the outbreak of antisemitism in the German capital.

The intelligence document cited examples of BDS that were widely condemned as antisemitic by German politicians and experts in the field of antisemitism. One of the outbreaks of BDS-animated antisemitism outlined was the storming of an Israel event at Humboldt University. At least three highly aggressive pro-BDS activists lashed out at Israeli survivor of the Holocaust Deborah Weinstein and MK Aliza Lavie (Yesh Atid) who participated at the event titled: Life in Israel – Terror, Bias and the Chances for Peace.

Ronnie Barkan and Majed Abusalama, two of the activists who disrupted the Humboldt event, were barred from speaking at BDS events in the city of Oldenburg prior to the Berlin event due to antisemitism.

Stavit Sinai, a third BDS activist at the Humboldt event, was removed from the lecture hall as she “swung [her fists] wildly around her and [at the] attendees,” according to a statement from the pro-Israel German-Israel Friendship Society. She “continuously attempted to reenter the lecture hall and pounded on the door,” said the group.

A second example was the call to boycott a music festival in Berlin because the Israeli government was listed as a sponsor. The intelligence agency wrote that “parts of BDS place Israel’s existence in question with its demands of an unconditional return of Palestinians and the comparison of Israel with the South African Apartheid regime.”

Klaus Lederer, the cultural senator of Berlin’s Left Party, has termed BDS “structural antisemitism.”

Israel will never stop his extension ( which is the sine qua non condition for peace in the region ) if countries keep supporting them all the time like westerners do.

BDS is a way to make them change their policy without violence so that's the best way to do it. The US should also threaten them to stop helping their security if they don't stop expending in order to negotiate an end of the expansion.

Presenting everything that doesn't consist of nodding at everything they do as "anti-semitic" is the good old way to make every body force to back them. Nothing new under the sun.

Hilarious.

BDS is the “reason for rising antisemitism”

It’s not actual white nationalist, far right antisemitic groups all around Europe and USA with politicans who emboldened them? They equally hate Palestinians (because they’re Arabs and majority Muslim) and Jewish people, but they’re not the reason???

Not Israeli PM, who claims to be voice of Jewish people WW ( https://www.upi.com/Top_News/World-News/2015/03/01/Feinstein-Netanyahu-arrogant-for-saying-he-speaks-for-all-Jews/5231425252650/ )

And then meeting antisemitic leaders and recently tweeting this fascist rhetoric:

The weak crumble, are slaughtered and are erased from history while the strong, for good or for ill, survive. The strong are respected, and alliances are made with the strong, and in the end peace is made with the strong.

???

Not Israeli army admitting they’re targeting civilians on purpose, sniping medics and children and then complaining about ptsd ???

No... none of these matter, none of these are to be blamed. The only non-violent solution to decades of occupation and oppression should be blamed... where is the logic?

The nerve to post this piece of propaganda, when another medic was shot, when Trump just cut aid for Palestinian refugees, when his government doesn’t even recognize them as refugees anymore and still claim they’re working for peace.

And white nationalists like Richard Spencer support Israel and see it as role model, so what’s your point?

“Until she can perform for both her Palestinian and Israeli fans”, and you know very well Israel won’t allow that. Palestine is under military occupation.

It was diplomatic way of saying I’m cancelling it.

Also it seems you are ignoring Muslim antisemitism which prevelant in Berlin. A child was bullied and physically attacked by Muslim classmates. Let’s not ignore that as well.

The part everyone is choosing to ignore where will she perform in Palestine.
Maybe she can sing Born To Die outside the Gaza border or maybe Money Power Glory in the West Bank as the homes of the people living there are being destroyed. I wonder.

We going to boo

Wow so now we’re inventing terms, it’s not just antisemitism it’s “muslim antisemitism” and then you say you’re not islamophobic... ok

Antisemitism is a worldwide problem, it’s not limited to one city in Germany. It’s unfortunate what happened to that kid, but when Muslim kids and immigrants are attacked on a daily basis, no one calls it “Christian islamophobia” or “Jewish islamophobia”. You’re also not reporting any of those news, I guess people should accuse you of ignoring them, so no one would feel sorry about the group of people you like to generalize and demonize.

They is the folks from the pro-Israel lobbies that we hear about. There's some balanced ones but they're not given a huge platforms most of the time so we rarely hear about these.

The ones we hear about have this habit of calling every body who... ( Let's say disagree with Benjamin netanyaou for example ) a jew-haters and compare them to Nazis. Even when the person simply disagree which has nothing to do with hating on jews...

When did I say antisemitism wasn't real? How can you understand something I clearly didn't say?
