Trigger is about rape

I think that the song “Trigger” that leaked back in late March is about rape. Sorry if everyone already knows/thinks this, please lock this thread if that is the case. Here’s why i think this:

“In the white room [...] was her baby, with his angry stare”

The song is about a girl and a boy in a “white room”. Im not sure what the white room could mean, or the colorful furniture in the room. Maybe they’re already in a relationship because of the use of the word “baby”, and the girl is scared of the boy.

“She’s just a baby taken by surprise”

I think this is obvious as to why i think it alludes to rape. She had no idea her lover could ever be capable of hurting her like this.

“She held his head down [...] you could hear their cries, sound of a baby, heard his very first lie”

Again, saying that the girl doesn’t enjoy this at all since they can “hear their cries”

Now this next part i think could just be me reaching, but maybe she has a gun with her?

I say this because of the lyrics “They never really knew it then, how to do it with the safety off the trigger”. Maybe she has a gun with her, but she doesn’t want to shoot her lover even though he’s hurting her in such terrible ways.

Again, sorry if this isn’t any new information, I just realized this recently since i don’t like listening to the song.

The first thing I thought about was abortion too. It reminded me a lot of AHS Hotel, when she goes to Murder House to get an abortion illegally. I got this "they didn't know how to do it right then so there was accidents sometimes" vibe.

I know there's a theory that she got abortion following the rape so...
