I don’t really know if it was the full song honestly, but it was definitely one of the longest songs performed. There where not many full songs in it(they had breaks in the songs sometimes) SwissMonster®️ - Creating controversy since 1999

Wet Fire 7,625
Thanks for sharing. Just one question, does any song have Gaga's Dope voice in it?

Fabio 34
I was at the premiere with Gaga too, yesterday. Gaga was amazing in the movie, a really great and complete performance. Though, there were things in the movie that I didn't like at all, and I want to focus on them. First off all, dialogues: they are sometimes too fake, they don't go deep in the characters' analysis. And they say "fucxxxg" way too many times, like they don't know how to better describe their feelings. The movie focuses a bit more on Jack's character, we get to know something more about him, while Ally is left unknown: why has her mother left, for example? The movie is too long, some scenes could have been shortened without loosing any content. Thanks to the thunderstorm and the technical problems, we had a break during the play! Some songs sound a lot like Joanne, an uptempo is kinda b-series (the lyrics are embarrassing, talking about ass shaking: I know it's useful for the plot, but it's definitely not a song for the Gaga singer, it's too low level, so I'll consider it only a soundtrack song). Shallow is super powerful, one of the best moments of the whole movie, a great duet. Yet my favorite song is I'll never love again, a timeless sound and the most touching moment of the movie. The song sounds a lot like Whitney Houston, most of all in the first verse when Gaga sings in falsetto: I'd go for it for the Oscar race. Sorry if I underlined some negative sides, I'm sure you will all go see it anyway!

I definitely agree on the lenght and some songs being basic but I don't think Ally's backstory would've added something really relevant to her character. She evolves througout the movie anyway

Interesting because I've read several reviews and no one talked about the dialogue thing but it sounds like something worth mentioning And I'm sure they deliberately make those pop songs sound silly to fit in the story But anyway, it seems like the movie is still pretty amazing despite having some flaws Can't wait to see the movie
Villanelle 1,251
Okay I have some questions. I managed to hear that snippet leak thing of Why Did You Do That (and I am OBSESSED), what's that like in the film? A good song? Does Gaga serve LOOKS in the movie? Because all I've seen so far are the trailer/promo pics and she's very dressed down/down played. We need a glamour diva finale dahhhling!
Hdog93 2
Found a leaked full version of I’ll never love again, it’s very Whitney/Bette Midler/Celine Dion sounding, very good vocals too, so excited to see her perform it, I can see her giving a great mournful performance It sounds like some people think the pop sounding songs aren’t good enough for Gaga, but apparently they’re supposed to be like that, like she’s turned into a cookie cutter pop girl which is why when she ends up singing why did you do that to me at SNL it’s considered to be a low point because the song is meant to not be good, all the songs aren’t supposed to be all good and why did you do that was meant to be written very cookie cutter imo and the fact that someone brought up that they say f-bombs in the movie to me is like, something you wouldn’t think about tbh, like of course the reviewers aren’t gonna be like, there were saying **** in the movie a lot, it’s rated R

Why did you do that is exactly the song I didn't like, it perfectly serves the plot to underline that this kind of pop is not for Ally. The finale is totally diva, don't worry!!!
