No Grammys? bloated? this is the standard soundtrack length a single before the movie wouldn't be wise and you can't so no grammys until the 2020 grammys are over so https://goo.gl/xMgMvJ
Mus 7,883
Weren’t a lot of you saying Grammy’s aren’t worthy anymore, that they are a joke, etc.? But suddenly it’s the most important thing for Gaga to get now? What’s in a reverse-warholian expedition?
Bradley 59,101
I don't understand why they would miss 2019's Grammys. In my opinion The Greatest Showman isn't a threat at all. This is Me lost at the Oscars, and This is Me is probably the biggest hit from The Greatest Showman. Judging from the snippet of The Shallow, it very likely is going to sound a million times better than This is Me. Not to mention Keala Settle can't really sing. It's literally 1 year and 5 months apart between the soundtrack release date and the Grammy ceremony.
S0436 10,215
Well you never know, the songs from The Greatest Showman are still charting now so maybe ASIB has a few hits to last well into 2019 and then be considered for the 2020 Grammys. If it does well at the Oscars the songs will carry on charting and the Grammy committee will have their eyes and ears open.

But still, any leak could happen in Sep. coz there will be monsters who attend the premiere and I bet they will have their devices record the whole movie even it’s audio only I'm going to the Venice premiere but I won't film anything. I respect her too much 😊
S0436 10,215
I’m sure they will have a strict no recording policy at the film festivals

It's quite obvious, their focus is the movie not the music. The music is here to be complementary to the movie like most of soundtracks... Honestly I don't see why you are all upset about it as you'll get a full 19 tracks soundtrack + a movie at the same time (and eventually her next solo album coming soon + some live videos from her residency)... I really can't understand some people here complaining while late 2018 will probably be epic for any LM
S0436 10,215
Well there will be a second trailer and maybe they will release more clips, hell they could even do performances before the release date. The Bodyguard was released in 1992 but Whitney performed and won for IWALY at the 1994 Grammys.

I really can't understand some people here complaining while late 2018 will probably be epic for any LM I haven't really read the whole thread and I don't know people's reaction, but personally I'm just upset because it means we won't hear Shallow or any song from the movie in full until October 5. It would have been fun if she released a song or two with Bradley beforehand to get people more hyped about the film (musical!) and see if radio would pick it up. None of us can manage Gaga or ASIB better than Bobby & WB, so in that regard, people should not act all smart. All I was saying is that a pre-release song would've had even more people talking, and in 2018 more than ever, the word of mouth is the most effective promo.
