Are Gaga's hits more iconic than her contemporaries' hits?

I'd argue that Bad Romance is on the same level as some of the most iconic pop songs of all time. Maybe a step below Thriller, and that's it.

I feel like Gaga's biggest hits - Poker Face, Bad Romance, Born This Way (even Paparazzi and Telephone to some extent) - are in general more well-remembered around the world than her contemporaries hits (excluding Britney and Beyonce).

Like the only "iconic" Rihanna song I can personally name is Umbrella. Katy doesn't seem to have a single "iconic" hit. It's hard to name Taylor Swift's well-remembered songs as well.

Do you agree with me?

Hope I'm not confusing y'all with this thread :messga:

Sis pick one or the other? Iconic around the world or just to you? :oprah:

Because this sounds like asking Donald Trump what race he'd favor.

A Hybrid

Here, anyone would remember Alejandro.

People who listen to (any kind of) music regularly know Bad Romance and Poker Face I guess.

A Hybrid

Before becoming a stan I thought Alejandro was her first and biggest hit because it played regularly for years and I bet it was on top of the radio charts here for longer than a year starting from its release

It wasn't even a hit WW...not a lot of people know it.

Oh ok. I'm from North America and am speaking from that perspective. I assumed it was as iconic everywhere
