Anyone here has been to Vegas and have suggestions for good hotels with good deals?

Walkable from the shows' venue would be wonderful but I'm open to any recommendations.

Already spent 1150 USD on 3 tickets so I'll have to be a budget queen.

Thanks ;)

Last time I went to Vegas I went to the Luxor hotel and I remember it wasn't too expensive.

Also I think Excalibur is pretty cheap.

In any case go on trivago with your dates and you will find best rates!

Exclaibur is the budget minded hotel near MGM ... There is a free tram but you're still gonna be walking a bit...

Otherwise it's a super8 or motel6 and some drunk John's for neighbors...😎

There's some super cheap motels right off the Strip for like $30 a night.

But they're not very nice

Honestly, any casinos in Vegas you may think that they are close to each other, but either way you are walking a lot between properties.

New York NY is right next door I believe, Luxor and Excalibur are around there, too. Not sure how Park MGM actually is, haven't been in since they renovated.

Luxor and Excalibur are the closest and the cheapest. The most convenient is obviously Park MGM, as the theater is inside that hotel/casino, but it is slightly more expensive.

I hate that most hotels in Vegas have a resort fee of $40 per day, that's why you always find good deals of $30 a night. So it does add up to the receipt at the end of your stay, especially if you're on a budget.

Midweek and certain times of the year plus how far in advance you reserve impact the rates....

Some holidays and big conventions fill up availability and the rates go up ..

Might be worth using a travel agent to get the best advice.

MGM is right in the middle of a cluster of very popular hotels too so it's almost always busy and crowded in the general area around Park Theater.

Tropicana is near and cool in old school Vegas way, it's the oldest on that corner but has good pools etc. I usually stay there.
