Don't worry. We can all pray and that will help us :ohwell:

It's so enfuriating to think that some countries are opposed to help this cause. To help it we need a GLOBAL effort. People using less plastic and stuff helps but a really small percentage, industry production is where most of the contamination comes from, and we as citizens can't really change that. Countries need to start leading this cause or the Earth is gonna be a reeeaal mess soon.

sisss i was just going to use my savings and fortunately my inheritance to just travel for the rest of my life. **** kids. I love my kids so much I won't bring them into the world.

Spill the tea honey. I find life so sh!tty already, why would I want to force someone into living this sh!t, especially knowing that the world is inevitably going to turn sh!ttier. Like, no Karen, I don't wanna experience the joys of motherhood such as changing diapers and seeing my kid fall into alcohol addiction like his daddy.

Does anyone think global warming is a good thing? I love Lady Gaga. I think she's a really interesting artist.

This makes me want to jump off a bridge and hey One less bitch wasting ressources.  I'm not even joking and when I see people not doing as much as they can I swear I want to .... Don't make say it, but I've gotten into literal fights for it

So do as much as you can babies

But I swear knowing this doesn't let me live properly although I do as much as it's in my hands

The best solution is that we as a whole species could commit suicide at the same time, so nobody is gonna miss anyone

And that makes me think a lot about how if there's a higher power, he's allowing this to happen

That's exactly my viewpoint my whole life. I don't think it's fair for me or anyone to bring kids into this messed up world.

Older generations & people in power that are mainly republicans need to stop denying climate change & start fixing it. We all know people in power do things for the money & since there’s more money in using fossil fuels they’ll keep using it. I don’t get how they don’t understand money won’t matter when we go extinct 🤦🏻‍♂️

Profits and business always seem to come before looking after our planet. Soon there will be no planet to run a business on.

Humanity really does deserve this with its exploitation of Mother Earth.

Capitalism is garbage [Before you come for me, I do realize the implications of saying that while using a laptop to type this --- as well as the unfortunate misuses of our good dudes Marx & Engels' ideas ].

i'm pretty sure scientists announced 2-3 years ago we had already reached that point.

There doesn't seem to be a consensus among scientists about whether we've reached that point or not. If you read the rest of the article in the link, some say these researchers are overreacting, while others think their conclusions make sense. I think we're going to pass it soon in any case :messga:

This. Earth's climate and ecosystem is highly complex and we do not know everything and are still learning. Not long ago one might laugh at the notion that the Sahara Desert in Africa is indirectly a big player in Earth's oxygen supply but now it seems that's the case

Scientists disagree because there is always debate in any matter where things aren't fully understood

Either way, what we do know is that things are bad and we need to change immediately!

It just sucks that the next generations are ****ed because of our stupidity now. And you know human nature, people will only START to earnestly find a solution when the effects are undeniably felt. Which, in this scenario, is already too late. Far too late.

Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊

Contamination is one of many environmental problems but in this case they are talking about co2 emissions

The major sources of that are petrol powered transportation and fossil fuel powered powerplants for electricity especially coal
