A lot of my friends Poker Face is pretty much the only Gaga song they still will ever play or ever think was cool (we are well into our mid 20s so Poker Face was during our prime time for music attention)

I notice ppl in general that I know from when I was a teenager enjoy Poker Face more than Bad Romance when I play throw backs (I'm known for always playing throwback music from 2005 to 2012 in my car sometimes that ppl forget and I remind them of it so ppl love me for throwback music :emma:)

However I notice online or even in person Individuals who love art or really pay attention to pop culture prefer Bad Romance. So it seems like more people like Poker Face casually but more people love Bad Romance

Since ppl that really hold on to pop events in history keep past culture alive more than casual listeners, I therefore think Bad Romance long term will be her most remembered song (exept maybe for Born This Way among the Gay community specifically)

What an easy question to answer... Jokes aside, I honestly can’t tell. My mom loves Bad Romance. My brother loves Poker Face. Both aren’t exactly Gaga’s fans. I’ve seen dudes on YouTube praise Bad Romance and Poker Face. I also remember during the Superbowl, black twitter was talking about Poker Face.

You know this is just my opinion, right?

Chris Evans

Bad Romance is her magnum opus and is bigger because of the video but Poker Face is a close second

I prefer Poker Face by a lot , but Bad Romance is a bop and I love it too! Poker Face was the #1 song of 2009, but BR's music video changed the face of music videos.

Poker Face will be the more remembered song in general.

Bad Romance will be remembered "Gaga" song.

Breakdown

I think both will be remembered, but BR will be the most acknowledged one due to it's impact not only in pop music at that time, but also in visuals. But I agree with you that the casuals seem to prefer PF since it's more "boppable" compared to BR (although I prefer the last).

So starry eyed on the flowery hillside, breathless and fervid amid the dandelions.

For now music video wise Bad Romance is definitely her big impact vid. Besides by far the most views look at all the awards it got and fans still rave about it too as her all time masterpiece. Fans argue about which video is at the top but Bad Romance is the music video that's almost always in everyone's top 3 or top 4

Music wise I agree Poker Face was one hell of a bop. Her biggest hit on the charts and casual listeners especially straight males liked Bad Romance more than any other Gaga song

But Bad Romance is very distinct and I find pop culture lovers who keep tabs on icons prefer bad romance more

So although Poker Face was her biggest hit with casual listeners I feel like bad romance will be more remembered because both fans as well as the pop culture community that keeps music records alive is more into Bad Romance than Poker Face and for longevity their opinion matters more than casual listeners!

That's my take on it. Poker Face is liked by more people but Bad Romance loved by more people and therefore Poker Face will struggle more to be known into future generations because it was just a huge hit/bop whereas Bad Romance is outright Iconic and unique

PS: it was the second biggest hit. I gotta feeling was the biggest of 2009. Unless u mean what u think was best in terms of quality?

I meant worldwide, Poker Face smashed all the charts ww and became the #1 best selling and charting single of 2009 calculated by an organization I guess. Poker Face charted in the top 7 in all the countries it charted in (blame South Korea for its #7 lol). Also, I Gotta Feelings success was cut between 2009 and 2010, since Poker Face already sold 9.5 million copies at the end of 2009 and I Gotta Feeling was released at the end of the year.

Both tbh. When she's old and playing festivals like the old rock star she's going to be, she'll open her shows with Poker Face and end them with Bad Romance and all the young people who don't know who she is will know these two songs only in the set and make them go OH OK THAT'S WHO SHE IS, LADY GAGA IS THE RAH RAH PO PO PO BITCH. That's what I think will happen.

Oh true. I think I was thinking of Canadian and US charts but WW numbers do matter more since it captures the full market. Fair enough

I know in Canada Poker Face was #1 for 8 weeks and in the US it was #1 for 6 weeks

But in both Nations I gotta feeling turned out to be the chart topper of the year if I remember correctly

Funny I loved the black eyed peas but always found I gotta feeling one of their most overrated hits

EDIT: Poker Face was #1 for 1 week in US it was Born This Way that was #1 for 6 weeks. Excuse the confusion
