Her "comeback" single No Excuses () wasn't hyped at all. And it didn't help that it was absolute trash.   Maybe she can do some sort of hype building and promotion for the next lead.

Please go back to your doo-wop roots that made your first album a massive success and a great listen 

Your second album had identity issues (the reddish brown hair, the throwback 2000 xtina sound (not original tbh), the cringey lyrics) but it did fairly well cause it was coming off a successful era 

What we heard from this third album so far is a Kidz Bops material 

I love Meghan but she has direction issues it seems

IMHO she took this decision, not her label. That insta post certainly hinting that.

I knew this was coming, we had no information with the album just 3 weeks away and no hits. They always use the "so much great stuff is happening in my life that I've decided to add more to this album" when they're not getting a hit. Notice how this stuff never happens when they're successful? Albums appear magically on time then, it seems. Some singers (and their labels) just can't accept that they're one hit/one album wonders and be grateful that they're still having any kind of success. Despite what some of you are saying, Meghan's issue isn't going to be magically cured with better promo next time. She has 9.6 million YouTube subscribers and she can't get views and likes right now. That's super weird. If even her own fans aren't here for her, the public won't be either. It's sad, but she's one of a long line of artists who started out strong and faded away. Fame is fleeting.
