To be fair - she’s had 9 #1s in the US. 5 of those were from TD (6 if you count Part of Me from the reboot) i get your point though - it’d be interesting to see a global charts ranking. Though I’d imagine that’d be really complicated to compile. Follow me on Instagram! https://www.instagram.com/natethetrailhunter/
Poissonche 12,365
Instead of complaining on how much this list is wrong (which it's not, since it's based on numbers, numbers and numbers), focus on this: this list was published as part of the celebration of the Hot 100's 60th anniversary. 60 years of numbers putting songs on a list. 60 years. That's the double, triple, and even more than most of y'all's lives. It's a long time (no offense if you're older than 60, being older is not a bad thing at all, keep that in mind, young man/woman/other). In those 60 years, there's a sh!t ton of women who worked hard and managed to get at least one of their songs on that damn list. And by a sh!t ton, I mean a sh!t ton. And in that sh!t ton, there's a sh!t ton of them you'll never hear about. However, the artist you stan came onto the scene 50 years into that list. 50 years of women putting out music. And on that damn list that all of these women worked to damn hard to get on, she managed to ****ing being the 19th most successful. In 10 years (and let's be honest, most of it happened in 3 years), she managed to outdo all of these women in terms of numbers except for 18 of them. 18, when put next to a sh!t ton, is nothing. Be proud that the amazing woman that you love and stan, Lady ****ing Gaga, got her ass on that ****ing list. YAS GAGA.

The fact that she not only makes it so far on the female list but is also on the All Time Hot 100 among males, bands, etc is amazing. Stats since 1958 are included here. CannaeDrive 3,412
OP should be more specific with the title, about being the BB Hot 100 exclusively. "Fame Is A Boomerang" - Maria Callas
dit 46,510
Your 1st decade is when you usually chart the most so Gaga probably wont be climbing up any higher but #19 is a FANTASTIC peak on an all times list. Our queen did THAT
Joga 3,813
This is like, chart performance, so I'd say I'm not surprised. Although I thought Taylor was higher, but I guess it's the Hot 200 or something GAGA || TAYLOR || BJÖRK || KENDRICK || LANA || NICKI || MADONNA || KANYE || BEYONCÉ || MARIAH || MCR || KATE || RINA || CHARLI || FIONA
Sakrai 4,759
I don't understand why we as a society still choose to fall into this Billboard paradigm of "We dictate what success is based on our own standards and our own definitions and you will accept this and play along with it." Honestly stop giving attention to Billboard. Their charts are the only thing that gives them power, and as long as we give their f*cked up charts attention we perpetuate their dominance and their toxic views on music and success. bye Oh, I'm just visiting-
gerrygaga 4,501
misleading + wrong title. it's Billboard Top ***HOT 100*** female artists. please change. you're welcome.
