Honestly after reading a lot on this site https://www.mjfacts.com/ I don't think he's as innocent as his fans and even the general public make him out to be. I can see why though, such a big icon in pop music and an advocate for a ton of good things. But honestly sleeping with young children in the same room or even the same bed as a grown man is an extremely questionable behaviour. And while they didnt find straight up child p*rn in his home they still found things that are on the borderline to being that. And why do you have to pay someone HUGE settlements of 8 figures if nothing ever happened? Idk while we'll never know the truth I think he was either really f*cked up from his childhood and genuinely didn't think this was a strange thing to do or he was guilty but knew how to mask it.

If he did it, which I don't think for a moment, this would be the clear reason

And today just if the rumour has it that you did something, you are instantly cancelled, even if some months after you're declared innocent. So, sadly, today, he would be cancelled and receive a lot more of backlash

He always settled things out of court, all the lawsuits were a hassle for him, a complete waste of breath and time, as people had already made up their minds about him. He paid them money because he wanted to never see them again, and they gladly accepted it because that's all they ever wanted: his money.

The way people sexualise the fact that he would have kids sleeping over is actually REALLY creepy. Liz Taylor was literally there on a few of these occasions and she described the events as fun, joyous. They would eat cereal, watch Walt Disney movies and laugh together. Whoopi Goldberg said she left her child with Michael and that she would have done it over and over again. Diana Ross has come to his defense. It's very easy to point the finger at someone who looks and acts "weird" and end up accusing him of doing the strangest things. He was also "accused" of being a homosexual as much as he was accused of being a pedophile, the press clearly had an agenda, they tried, over and over again, to make the two things look the SAME. And we all know very well that homosexuality and pedophilia aren't the same thing at all.

Anyway, on topic, yeah he'd be cancelled. People are cancelled for wearing a headpiece these days.

This Is It was set up to flop

That is the dumbest thing I have ever read. It was literally the biggest comeback ever and sold out so fast they added 40 additional shows.

That video of him holding hands with that kid and looking nervous when the interviewer asks him why he shares his bed with little boys :rip:

and he wasn’t in good enough health to do most of them. he was scared shitless and questioned if he could even do 2/50. watch some documentaries please.

he’d have to go on drug super mode to do that, and I don’t think he’d have survive that.

As some in here have said already he pretty much was "cancelled" when the allegations came out. The blow back from the first allegations caused him to cancel the entire USA leg leg of the stadium tour that he was on at the time just months after having headlined to Supper Bowl. His image was so damaged from then on out that he never toured the US again. His sales took a massive nose dive and he was only really viewed as a joke until literally the day he died. He still had a dedicated international fan base and toured outside of the US so his stats still look impressive, but there's a reason he hadn't released an alum in 8 years when he died.

Except he was innocent which is the reason he walked free.
