I would die for an EW&F and early Michael Jackson funk pop sound. We would be so lucky to get music like this.

I’m still cautious about whatever new music is coming (besides ASIB, which I know will be GREAT) because the other producers she’s been working with aren’t doing it for me, but hopefully their solo work doesn’t give indication. I was honestly excited for a C2C sequel and would prefer that to music like Sophie’s and Boy Noize...

Yeah, It could be classified as pop, but it’s definitely not pop per definition. If someone ask me „name a pop album“ I I am definitely not responding Joanne I loved the album. I could relate with many songs but it isn’t pure pop to me. And as I said, I agree to the fact that it’s good that she evolves an try’s new things. I just say that I can understand the people that want Gaga‘s „classic“ pop back.
