All religion is personal. If you expect others to make exceptions for you because of it then you've set your expectations incorrectly.

I personally think if you follow a religion it's due to some psychological difficulty or (gasp) being groomed from a young age (which is why people are christened as babies).

 

What are you even talking about? No where in Islam does it says that what you “quoted” no where in Qur’an literally. Educate yourself about something then come here and talk ****. You need to specify in the title that it is happening in Aceh, which is the only province in the country that using Sharia law, because it is given its own autonomy by the government, where the rest of Indonesia don't use this law at all. @Melech

this might sound very ignorant but i cant help but to criticize the offenders themselves. we probably cant change the law in aceh but if you are living in a city where sodomy is considered as crime and will be punished, why would you still do it. and if i'm not wrong, sharia law is only for muslims. that means the offenders must be muslims too. so they must have known that islam forbids sodomy yet they still do it.

It's not only politicians playing with peoples mind, it's also that people don't want them here. I was in Bavaria (where i grew up), was visiting family, when the elections was and Afd got so many votes, at first i was really shocked, because AfD is also against some gay rights, and it was kinda terrible, but i also talked to people i know who voted for AfD. I wanted to know why they voted for them, and it's always the same, it's different culture, it's changing everything, they don't really bland in etc., and i kinda can understand them. And i don't think it's fair, or even beneficial to anyone to attack the west like this, because it will just separate the west from islam even more and more.

And how much they don't adapt to the west, even after few generations, we have seen with turks from Germany voting for Erdogan. Turks living here in second or third generation, voted for Erdogan and everything he stands for. 63.1% of Turks living in Germany voted for Erdogan. So tell me, how am i supposed to feel after votes like this?

I think you should blame your country on this, not the immigrants

Most probably the government and the society did not set the right environment for immigrants to bland in.

Check Turkish votes in the US Erdogan has only 20% probably (less than the percentage of trump)

indonesia is an extreme,  not just because of religion but because of their cultural evolution!
