Also I never actually said Gaga working with Ronson in and of itself was a mistake :reductive:

I think they worked well together and it was a good fit for Gaga personally just not the best fit for exec. producer imo

If he's the reason for this (rumored) Miley collab then it's a huge YES from me!

No. If anything it highly improved Gaga’s recording quality. As much as I loved Born This Way, it had terrible mixing. It didn’t sound professional at all. For example Americano and Marry The Night.

Then why did everyone comment on how Perfect Illusion’s acapella sounded like a demo when we first heard it?

Never said she has to please me or that the album was bad or even that I didn't like the album. Where are y'all getting this :saladga:

Although I had that impression from you (not anymore I guess), my post was meant generally for a lot of posts in this thread/the huge amount of posts per week complaining about Joanne.

Not at all. The production on Joanne was some of the best she's had - it just sounds so complete and "finished". Everything is blended together really nicely, and the choices are great.

(the only exceptions for me are the Hey Girl synths and the "Hey!"s on Sinner's Prayer, they just sound cheap:sis:)

We probably would have gotten something Joanne-esque with or without Mark. A different producer would have probably just made it wore.

This. Gaga's voice and melodies, Florence's voice and lyrics plus Mark's production, this should've been a total masterpiece:giveup:

Instead we get repetitive cheesy lyrics and a super cheap sounding instrumental.
