A 3 month break isn't going to cut it. They'll be burnt out after this tour. Remembering all the lyrics to 12+ songs you didn't write that all sound the same year after year plus all the world travelling, promoting and hearing preteen screams in your ears 24/7 is not a recipe for good wellbeing. Justin Beiber's testament to that. I have a feeling their next release will be a Christmas album so they just need to promote in one month and won't need to tour with it. Can you imagine how much a 1D Christmas album would sell, seeing as there'll only be about a 1.5 month window to buy it before it'll be deemed useless? They've released three albums now, and in boyband land, this is normally when the Christmas albums and greatest hits are imminent. I don't know why, but for most boybands, it all falls apart during or after album #3 (NSYNC, Blue, 5ive, Jonas Brothers, JLS) and even if they continue to have success after album #3, it's nowhere near the level when they first started out until it whittles down to nothing. Some bands who once split up utilised nostalgia to make a successful comeback years later (Take That, Boyzone, NKOTBBSB, the cast of The Big Reunion). But there's only two bands I can name who had continued success for a long period of time without splitting up once - Backstreet Boys (who are still making music nearly 17 years after they debuted) and Westlife (who split last year after 14 years of making music). I have the feeling that they'll be the only two exceptions to the boyband rule. 1D have nowhere near achieved their success. They completely fail after the first two singles, have difficulty getting a #1 after the lead single and still haven't got a Billboard 100 #1, which is hardly the basis for a long lasting career.
