dwuw but it's kinda weird that people are cancelling US products because of Trump's stupid comments but still 99% of people didn't cancel companies that use child labour or pay a super low wage to their employees.

If I were a Canadian I'd probably do the same, but it's just interesting what pisses people of these days and what we're used to

It's what Trump and his followers deserve. He can't just assume that the world spins around USA.

Honey.. so hmm start with GGD and then spotify and then netflix and like stop using your iphone and omg just lock yourself on a deserted island :selena:

I said whenever possible. I did say it's hard to avoid completely did I not?

Also I don't have an iPhone anymore I use Huawei which is much cheaper (Chinese) and GGD is not really a sale. Even if they make enough money off of adds it's a specific owner or a few owners and I don't care to target individuals anyway

Also I use Spotify but I think its from an European Nation not American

They better not do it when LG6 is on stores

Seriously I think boycott is a legitimate thing to do buttttttttt not sure it will make any change at all

Probably won't. We'd need to have at least 2% or 3% of population on board to make any real noticeable difference. Probably not even 1% will stick to it

It's always good to buy local , assuming there are local enough local produce for the Canadian market. But doesn't Canada import fruits and vegetables from the US?

We do. Most of our food comes from the US. Pre-packaged foods too. There's more US stuff in our grocery stores than Canadian because our climate only allows for specific things tho grow

We basically grow a tone of wheat, apples, corn, soy and canola and export our surplus for revenue. Most other food has to be imported

So we could only buy Canadian by targeting things like dairy, bread, beef and stuff like that

Yeah cuz the stuff u mention is worse but it's on going since we were born and so were disensatised to that reality and don't think about it. Trumps harsh retoric on the other hand is new

Plus we benefit from child labor that gives us cheap stuff while Trump would affect us negatively. So double standard for sure
