Economy 52,834 Posted June 14, 2018 Share Posted June 14, 2018 https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/buycanadian-pocketbook-patriotism-takes-off-as-trade-tensions-mount-1.1093076 A social media movement to not buy US products is starting to take off in Canada as Canadians are increasingly upset with harsh language and action from Trump especially over Trade Wars and Trump calling Trudeau weak and his administration saying there's a special place in hell for Trudeau On twitter there are pictures of grocery carts with the caption "Trump free groceries with products from Canada and other Countries with stronger leadership" Some are also cancelling trips to the US as they don't want to spend their money across the border ------------------- Now I'm thinking of doing the same whenever possible.
