Possible Underperformance Of The Trailer?

So, I am undoubtedly proud of our Mother Monster, for starring in this magnificent movie! But one specific thing worries me. I know that the trailer has been released about 3 hours ago, but it only got 75K views so far. Now if you look at Warner Bro`s previous releases, for example, The Lego Movie, you will notice that it got 3.1 million views after just one day. Now, I`m worried what if this movie won`t get enough promo and will MAYBE underperform? Please tell me that I`m just overthinking :triggered:

Well Lego Movie is an animated kids film so it is doing well on youtube of course...I think we should compare it to the trailers of other films in the vein of ASIB. Any examples you know of?

The trailer is literally out everywhere. Even James Corden uploaded the trailer. :rip: I think at this point, they don't care about the views on one single video, but care about reaching as many people as possible.

Just enjoy things.

Don't worry about flopping, Gaga's got her check, she's happy and this movie will be fantastic.

La La Land should be what we focus our comparisons on

Head Empty

A massively anticipated sequel to a highly praised modern mainstream animated movie getting more views than the 4th remake of a cult hit? Unheard of :what:

Oh, you're right. No one will show up at the theatres, and the film is already a flop. And Gaga's career is over. God, why did we do to deserve this? :ladyhaha:

Exactly. La La Land and Greatest Showman. Comparing it to blockbuster animated films or super heor movies isn't really fair.

Not quite sure, but if you look at their previous trailers you will notice they got at least 3M each

Give it time. It should hit 1 million views by the time the 5th remake is released :vegas:

Overthinking, the video is literally everywhere! :lolly: And it's 99% impossible for the movie to underperform as the budget for it is probably under 20 million dollars, it's gonna take just the first day of release to break even

You are overthinking, overconcerned and overworried. Let's remember a) we can't predict the performance of films the same way we think we predict the performance of songs and b) Gaga doesn't have 100% of the word like she does with her albums, so if Warner and Bradley want the film to perform well, they'll HAVE to promote it.

It’s still trending and celebrities are acknowledging it, word of mouth and the media will generate buzz for the film.

Australia and New Zealand is just waking up, views will grow.
