Is Selena Gomez’s Music Career Going The Jennifer Lopez Route?

Although Selena has said before she has enough songs for two new albums it seems she has no plans to release a full length album anytime soon. 

Is she pulling a JLo? Basically releasing 1 or 2 singles every year with no album.

I don't think it's something bad. Like Jlo, Selena is not a vocal singer, she knows it and she understands it. She will not be taken seriously if she starts releasing albums every year. So I find that she is acting intelligently. (and it doesn't bother me personally, her singles are cute)

Honestly, why couldn't we just have one pop star with Selena Gomez’s beauty/grace/social media presence and Demi and Ariana’s talent - not 3 subpar pop stars that are problematic in their own way?

Well, her last singles have been different and fun. I really like Bad Liar, Fetish, Wolves. And Back To You is growing in me.

I only liked Ni Tú Ni Yo, but that was a Gente de Zona song. El Anillo and Dinero are the worst songs ever
