I know but I still find it weird:huntyga: we don't see artists talking about bottoming every day.

I like it. We need more unapologetically gay artists.

Kim never defended Dr. Luke's actions whatsoever. It'd be different if it had been proven that he actually did abuse Kesha, but it isn't proven, so people shouldn't be mad that others still want to work with Dr. Luke. Katy was still with him on Witness, under his ****ing ghostwriting names.

misunderstood

So ****ing proud of him to not kick her off just because of this

What about R Kelly? Gaga supported him. Or is that part of an exception ?

He said that when he was presented with the opportunity to have Petras support him on tour, he was elated, but not without hesitation. “I love Kim’s music and think she’s an incredibly important artist. I wanted to support her without supporting the professional circumstances around her, which was an obvious challenge.”

He added that he was not aware of some of the comments Petras had made in the past interviews. “I since have read them and was troubled by them, like you. The opinions communicated in these interviews don’t align with my personal values or the values of the tour.”

Isn't that a bit of a contradiction? He's saying he knew from the beginning it would be controversial to have her on tour because of her "circumstances" but then goes on to say that he didn't know about her comments prior to that? Am I missing something?

It sounds like he knew she had worked with Dr. Luke on her music, but not the various things she had said about their collaboration in recent interviews. So its not necessarily contradictory.

little angels acting like they are not listening to Dr. Luke's songs of Katy/Britney/J.Lo/rest of their faves:awkney:

Ya'll are too weak for really make a stand so it's so easy to come and backlash an artist that still works with him.. look at yourself first and ask yourself what have you done to make Luke pay and what you're still doing, instead of ranting on social medias while a Dr. Luke song is played in the background..

What she said in that statement isn't really controversial, without context. With context, it's horrible.

I do trust Kesha fully but we seriously bend any traditional view to our own benefit, especially with "innocent until proven guilty"

I can't listen to Kim without thinking about Puke, Kesha's case, and what Kim initially said about the case. It would be different if she had maybe a one or a couple of his produced tracks, but he is woven into the fiber of her entire music catalog. I also think Kim is feeling the heat and doesn't want to get kicked off this tour and lose money, so that is why she's backtracking.

SKANK

Remember when rock stars were allowed to be provocative, messy, and a little dangerous? In our black and white culture we seem to have thrown all public figures on the same pedestal. We don't have to hold Troye Sivan and his opening act to the same standard as a senator.
