Because Gaga is an established artist and the critics or Grammy voters still know her. Carly EMOTION was not nominated because she is a one hit wonder who released an album that no one knows exists. I remember speaking with my friends about Gaga`s new music and they were like, what comeback? This is true! I live in Eastern Europe and heard million Reasons a couple of times but it's not very well known. The album and the song have a country vibe which may be hard to swallow for Europeans. But the album is platinum certified in my country so this means fans like it and bhough it.

I know, I just wanted to emphasize that the album had an impact and some received critical reception so it's not a ''forgotten flop album''. As the other user said, I don't think GP works albums-wise, but singles-wise.

No but I visited a Dracula-themed hotel. I don't find this Dracula thing scary because it was inspired by a real person, and as most of Medieval European princes did he used torture punishments. It's cool that it gives promo to my country though.

She received little to no recognition in half of Europe. She has done well in UK, France and Italy, eventually charted in Slovakia and couple of countries in Western Europe. Did everyone in Europe know about Lemonade as well? If not then I guess Lemonade is a forgotten flop album as well.
ArtGagaPop 61,940
I can't with you guys bringing up Joanne in a thread for a album that floped and is the most forgotten of all time

When the OP mentioned 'most forgotten flop album' in this thread, he meant an album that is COMPLETELY forgotten by everyone even among the pop stans and music critics. That's why we're not talking about the GP in Europe right now. We're talking about the perception towards the album in general and that definitely includes American music critics and pop fans, and as we know Joanne is adored by them. Joanne is clearly far from being forgotten. You might be right about Joanne being not impactful enough in Europe, but you brought it up in the wrong thread. But since she is Beyoncé we can't say anything bad about her.

Also your country has a violent transition into democracy in 1989 that is featured in History's book. Now is 2018 and Romania is thriving
