Hung Up is a great sample. I don't think it's fair to say it's better because it wouldn't have happened without ABBA

I voted Madonna but if the ABBA version was re-done with newer high quality synths and production then probs that

Madonna’s vocal is very weak compared to ABBA.

the sample is what made hung up memorable not the melody or beat

My first music fan obsession before ABBA or Lady Gaga was an artist named Basshunter he was popular in Europe in the 2000s and had a couple hits in North America too

 

He is also from Sweden!

 

Also, there's this rap violin song also from Sweden that to this day is one of my favourite songs ever!

Ya I know crazy frog!!! But I didn't realize it was an artist. I thought it was just a brand of a company

Those are the songs I still remember and that I really liked. My favourite tho would be Dota

 

I found out about Basshunter from a fan video of a show i loved (The Tribe) when I was a kid believe it or not

 

PS: I'm not from Sweden I'm from Canada. But I always thought Sweden was great music wise. And ABBA is my favourite group of all time!
