@GaGaLB: 11  "La Tortura" is a reggaeton-inspired track which lyrically tells the story of a woman who has been emotionally "tortured" because her boyfriend cheated and eventually left her for another, and has now returned begging forgiveness. He apologises extravagantly, but is ultimately of the thinking that infidelity is natural for men and for the woman not to forgive him would be tiresome and unreasonable. However, at the end of the song, Shakira's character humiliates him and says that she is not going to cry over him. it couldn't been #1 on BB Hot 100.

@badgirlmeat: 8 a bop and a classic indeed, but hearing it everywhere back in the day made me like it less. my only complaint would be Alejandro Sanz's voice sounds kinda damaged in some parts

@Kandy life: 11 The very biggest moment in the whole album. This song is one of a kind. There is nothing in Shakira's discography that measures this. 

@Texas Joanne: 11 my favorite on this album. everything about is magic. the lyrics, the production. the production is also so clean and polished. i’ll be really mad if anyone gives this pop perfection less than a 10

@Flippy: 11 The best song from the album, at least to me. It's fun to listen to it and the video is beautifully put together for such a low budget-video tbh (at least it looks like it was low budget). The whole purple wig and corset just gives me so much life! Also, can we talk about those stilettos?! YAS BITCH! It was so nice to see her look so sexy despite looking like a hippie the whole era tbh (not that she looked bad, just not my cup of tea). 

Favorite lyrics: "Yo te propongo un desliz. un error convertido en acierto"

@GaGaLB: 10  . it could be 11, but since you allowed one 11.so i give it to La Tortura. I guess this song didn't achieve the success that i should have been. it should been at least in the top 10 on BB hot 100.
