With the assistance of Iselin, the two came together for a dainty, feel-good single titled “Walking By,” and it’s an impressive package of artistry. “Walking By” finds Felix Cartal in a warm, vulnerable state of mind, as if he’s teeming with emotion and a desire to spell out what it means to be infatuated with a stranger. Bright textures and a classic house beat drive this song onto cloud nine while Iselin uses her sweet voice to tell the story. Felix Cartal said he chose her voice for a reason:

“I’ve always wanted to write a song that’s more of a narrative. Iselin’s voice really helped sell this story… her voice is delicate, confident, and convincing all at the same time and she was a joy to work with. This song is about that moment when you see someone in the street, and imagine how well you two could get along, even though you’ve never met before. And then just like that, they’re gone forever.”
