Quartz 11,923
Is it too much to ask for Gaga to dominate again, at least once more? The joy of seeing someone you support slaying everyone... It just isn't comparable to anything. These were the times I would go straight to billboard.com every refresh on thursdays just to see how well my lady was doing. And all the songs on the charts weren't **** too. The songs were there because they were iconic and GOOD. Now, half the songs on the charts are so forgettable and similar sounding that it doesn't excite me to even know half of them. Can we please bring it back Gaga? Just one more era of domination and theatrics? Can we? Please? Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊

As someone who thoroughly enjoyed the Joanne era, I don't think it's too important to differentiate between 'Gaga the character' and 'Gaga the person'. I feel like, she was just being Lady Gaga as usual, maybe slightly toned down a little bit, but her body of work was very enjoyable to me. In Gaga: Five Foot Two, Gaga asked her friend if she thought the fans would be disappointed because she wasn't avant-garde enough or in high fashion, I'm that kind of fan who is pleased by both the Perfect Illusion and Million Reasons videos, therefore I don't see that big of a problem with it. Quartz 11,923
33 minutes ago, Bradley said: As someone who thoroughly enjoyed the Joanne era, I don't think it's too important to differentiate between 'Gaga the character' and 'Gaga the person'. Oh don't get me wrong bro, I LOVED Joanne. I really do. It's just nostalgia talking, you know? I loved the enigma that was Gaga and the fact that everyone was awaiting everything she would do next was just amazing. I would be here till the end, regardless of what direction she takes. I just MISS her back then and what she stood for. In my rational mind, I know that that can't be sustainable, but I just miss it. Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊
