Bïtch don't tell me you never rode a bike in your school years...I really miss the days when me and my friends will ride all over our town everyday as long as vacations last...now I'm a sad Uni student that rides his bike alone :selena:

BTW in the first one it's a motorcycle and in the second one that guy is blind, so they now how to give a twist in common themes :ladyhaha:

What if tomorrow I see you again? Should I say that I used to love you?

I mean... CMBYN is a movie written by straight people, about gay people, for straight people. The movie is as gay as Shawn Mendes or Nick Jonas actually are. 0%. The movie is creepy and so is the novel.

CMBYN was a beautiful film, IMHO. There was nothing 'straight' about it. The story was told quite organically and beautifully given the context of it.. the film actually really moved me as I was watching it.

I think the LGBT Community needs to check itself from time to time because no matter what content gets put out into Pop Culture that concerns it - majority of it's members expect and finds the worst in it. I see it every single time something 'gay' gets put out into the entertainment world & I'm so sick of it.

Homonormativity 101  ya'll:

https://everydayfeminism.com/2015/01/homonormativity-101/

It exists in Hollywood and day-to-day life.  Hopefully we will see more queer films in the future.  CMBYN was beautiful but the book tears your heart out a bit more with Elio's narration.

Recently enjoyed "4 Moons" -- each story is quite unique and represents the complexities of sexualities:

Call Me By Your Name isn't perfect but it is good

HOWEVER God's Own Country is a slow mess and i'm sick of that stereotype of gay men who are internally homophobic initiating sex by basically wrestling and fighting each other until somebody slips inside the other :nails:

God’s Own Country is phenomenal and your description is an insult to the film.

Haroon

I mean they're actors for a reason, they don't need to be part of whatever group they're portraying to portray it  Especially when it's not down to looks, so it's not the same as whitewashing a movie at all. Movies need to sell so sometimes they'll pick the bigger name actor so there's more exposure, and in my opinion that exposure to LGBT+ in a movie is more important than having LGBT+ actors in it

I just want a nice action fantasy movie with a gay lead, with gay romance, that ends happily for the gays. No politics, no '' woe is me am gay '', no AIDS, no Trump, no gay history, no nazis, no SJWs, no feminism, just some good old sword fighting, magic shooting, fire breathing fantasy + GAY.

Will never happen though.

Second season of dirk gentlys holistic detective agency had that. Cute gay couple in fantasy/scifi setting.
