What are you basing this off of though? Like how do you know how much Beyonce is involved with the production or composition of her songs/albums?

We know.:interestinga:

You're making it seem as if beyonce does absolutely nothing. She's one of the most hands on artist there is which multiple producers have claimed.

"The process is like a writing camp, essentially. She flies us all in and puts us all up. We all live in a house together β€” like five producers and five topline writers. She visits each room and will contribute and let us know what she's feeling and what she's not feeling. Lyrically, melodically, anything. She's very Frankenstein when she comes to songs. She'll say, "I like the verse from that. I like the pre-chorus from that. Can you try mixing it with that?"-SiaΒ

Having a ton of producers and writers isn't as bad as monsters make it seem. Gaga could honestly benefit from using more people.Β

That's about the songwriting mostly, I mean the production and composition and stuff outside of that :sweat:Β Even so, if other people are working on the songs that still doesn't mean Beyonce isn't having a say :shrug:Β Who's to say she isn't picking and choosing and cutting and editing and making suggestions and all of that stuff. Curating is also a big thing to do even if there are writing camps and whatever and people deserve applause and credit when they curate something beautiful, which Lemonade definitely was in my opinion :omg:

There's still heavy involvement if you're the one making the decisions about what stays and goes and how much something stays or is changed and so on. Like the quote from Sia proves, she obviously does have a say and involvement in what she's doing. It's not like someone gives her a pre-made album with demo vocals on it and all she does is re-sing those vocals and that's it :laughga:

In my opinion Beyonce is not responsible for most of her musical acclaim. She deserves to be praised for her performance skills, but albumsΒ like Lemonade and Beyonce are mostly made by other people. When Gaga makes her music she is involved in every aspect of what she makes. From lyrics, to production, to composition. Sometimes Gaga has more involvement than other times, but overall Gaga's music is a creation of her. On the contrary, Beyonce needs a considerable amount of writers and producers, to the point were you can see that she is mostly only there to tell her team what to write about. So to me her team isΒ more responsible for her musical acclaim than she is.

Of course it would be better if she's involved more in the production and songwriting, but it takes real good taste to make an acclaimed album, and I think she has that taste or you can say vision

BeyoncΓ© is indeed the most overrated artist of our generation. She’s basically Rihanna but with better vocal and dancing abilities. But at least Rihanna doesn’t pretend to be something that she’s not, which is why I love her so much. Beyonce, on the other hand, needs some humbling in my opinion. Someone who needs literal camps full of writers and producers in order to make a record is not really an artist, but more of an art coordinator. WhichΒ isn’t a bad thing in of itself, but to pretend that she’s some sort of musical goddess and genius musical mind is laughable at best.Β But then again, it’s just an opinion lolΒ

not when Adele exists

edit: every superstar is overrated, and I don't think Beyonce is any more overrated than other divas

What makes an artist then? I swear you fans are the most pretentious people I have ever seen.Β :toofunny:

Lord Temptation

This goes WAY backΒ :oprah:

Are you forgetting thatΒ Beyonce has been raisedΒ to be successful from an early age -Β since she was a teenager - by her ambitious then-manager (who also happens to be her fatherΒ :wtfga:)

Matthew Knowles recently came out and said that a big part of the reason whyΒ Beyonce has so much acclaim is because she is light-skinnedΒ :selena:

Same situation as Taylor Swift, Selena, Ariana and Miley who all startedΒ out as teenagers with wealthy and famous parents.Β Their parents wanted it THAT bad. Talented people everywhere end up nowhere. But if you have ruthless parents, well well wellΒ :bon:

It’s as simple as that, reallyΒ :lana:

Stop rewriting history to fit your narrative, BeyoncΓ© didn’t grow up rich and her father had to quit his job to manage destiny child forcing then to move to a smaller apartment. Gaga actually grew up rich and does that invalidate her talent, hustle or passion?

And it starts.... please monsters for the love of god can we not say the same thing about BeyoncΓ© every single post! This is why people HATE Gaga’s fan base and this site is on the verge of becoming as bad as MadonnaNation.Β

So what if people hate gaga's fan base cause they don't systematically kiss their idol ass lol?

Monsters are very frank about their view of gaga whatever it's positive or notΒ so why not being frank about other artists as well? It's more interesting than laconic comments to please every oversensitive fan on the planet imo.:stalkga:
