StrawberryBlond 14,819
I don't know why so many people are against Kim's decision to not make a third film and act like she was causing all the problems. Her decision was very understandable. The first movie made $415 million on a $55 million budget, got mixed critical reviews and got nominated for MTV awards. The second won made $294 million on a $95 million budget, got brutal critical reviews who called it the worst film of the year and it won 3 out of 7 Razzie nominations (and would have won more had it not been for The Last Airbender being nominated that year). Kim likely saw that it was all going downhill and thought it would hinder her chances of future roles and as an older woman, knew she would struggle enough as it was. She probably also thought she was now too old to be doing raunchy stuff in a SATC movie. And if it's true that all the women were never even friends, well, that's just the cherry on top. I'd want to get out too. Plenty of actors don't sign on for a threequel. Plenty don't even sign on for a sequel. And they're actually praised when they do this if it's for a bad franchise, claiming that they did the right thing for their career. Why does Kim get more hate than any of them? Sarah should have contacted her in private if she was being truly genuine. Public declarations of condolances when you have a strained relationship with the bereaved party is a bad move. If it was genuine, it didn't come across like that, more damage control. Though that's hardly necessary as the other women have hardly been blamed for anything, its all been pinned on Kim for being the "difficult" one. It's funny, I bet if it were a series of guys, one choosing to leave it all behind wouldn't be portrayed quite as badly. But suddenly, when it's women, we've all got to be BFFs, you can't let a sister down, even if it goes against your own wishes. Perhaps this was just one of the many problematic ideas SATC helped to perpetuate?

hpmcmill 1,990
I’ve met SJP in NY and was beside her at Sam Smith concert a couple years ago. She was incredibly down to earth both times and didn’t feel like a “better than you” type of celebrity. She just feels like another NYer who acts for a living. She’s great. androiduser 7,438
yeah, I dunno, I feel like Kim is on a campaign to smear Sarah Jessica, she's really going out of her way to talk badly about her, it's all she does now, and the only way she gets press

Chuckles 2,549
Did y'all even read the article?? It says that one time, the trio left Kim out of a rental home in a shooting location. That screams total mean girls to me... "Page Six reported how, during an Atlantic City, NJ, location shoot, “Sarah Jessica rented a house for herself, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. Kim was left out on her own.” (An HBO spokesman said, “Kim stayed in a different house because she was married at the time, and her husband was supposed to come.”)" https://nypost.com/2017/10/07/inside-the-mean-girls-culture-that-destroyed-sex-and-the-city/

ItsTommyBitch 12,640
My first reaction is that if SJP is fake, there's nothing wrong with Kim calling her out. 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
Phlop 4,773
They don’t like each other, Kim would rather get condolences from fans/friends/other people than someone she can’t stand. BYE

I’ve never even seen Sex in the City lol. I just saw how she treated security, etc. yeah I don’t know how she treated Kim but I’m not sure why Kim’s word would hold so much weight against SJPs

She was a bonafide movie star, having headlined 'Mannequin' and 'Big Trouble in Little China'.” Her career was struggling She was not a bonafide movie star. By that statement, then so was Sarah with Hocus Pocus and The First Wives Club That article was either penned by Kim's team or they at least authored a lot of it for page 6 Either way this whole thing is embarrassing and should been done in private. On both sides
