Update : Here's the japanese version called  “Chikai” (誓い), which means “oath” or “vow.”

 

Thank God Square-Enix for still bring her in for KH3,

I was really afraid they would screw up the spirit of KH song with someone else

Tbh I don’t really like that it sounds so much like Fantôme. I LOVE that album, but I wish this was more distinctly KH like the other two themes have been. Plus, this felt like it kept building and didn’t really go anywhere and the rhythm seemed wonky. She sounds great so maybe it’ll grow on me/make sense in the context of the game, but so far I’m meh about it.

I know, but just imagine that if Squeenix did an orchestral remix of the song for the credits, it usually going to sound so epic

I'm so happy she's back for KH3. It wouldn't have been the same without her, and I would have puked if they just used another remix of Hikari or something

Yeahhh I get what you're saying. And if you've heard her recent singles (like Anata and Forevermore), this sounds a LOT like them, which is a little bit of a bummer - like she would have otherwise made this song for her next album regardless of the tie-in. And yeah, when the percussion kicks in I struggled to find the downbeat.

I'm excited to hear the whole thing but so far, it doesn't stand a chance against Simple and Clean and Sanctuary. Anyways, though. The trailers were absolutely A****INGMAZING

I gasped out loud when I saw ARIEL!!! ❤️

If she's a summon, then at least she's somehow in the game. But Genie was a summon in KH2 AND Sora went to Agrabah, so we could still get another Atlantic level. I would love to explore Eric's kingdom and face off Morgana with Melody and Ariel.
