I am telling you guys, there is something MAGICAL about this song. It makes me feel like a little kid again. It brings me back to a beautiful place that I've never been to but I feel like I have in another life. I feel connected to this song in a spiritual way. 

The MELODY. The ****ing melody. It is transcendental. I have never heard a melody like it before in my life. It reminds me of a beautiful doomsday landscape, completely empty of human life but all the vegetation is blooming into vibrant colors. It is so unique yet so easy to sing along to at the same time. I find myself humming it constantly. 

The PRODUCTION. Sure, it's a demo. Sure, it's messy. But imagine the song reproduced, remastered, and rereleased today. It would be one of the most incredible songs ever released by a popstar in history. The HEAVENLY synths, the gritty lead in the background, slowly progressing until it EXPLODES in the chorus. Like oh my god

I feel like Gaga herself doesn't even acknowledge the potential that this song could have had, which is why it remains unreleased. BUT she did chose to use part of the hook in Fashion of His Love, which leads me to believe that she too believes that this song is special. But that also means that there is no chance Earthquake will get an official release :( so sad 

 

Now listen to the anthem of the century that got away, fats! :giveup::giveup:

I remember playing this song on my mp3 standing across from my crush on the bus to school when we looked each other in the eye :wub:

My heart skipped a beat and it felt like time froze :wub:

I love this song so much :wub:
