Itsbrenda 2,983
I have a situation, I have arrived in London for the Joanne tour (everything was already paid for so thought I might as well come) and I arrived at my hotel to a women on the front desk. So I don’t have to write it again, here is a link to what happened: she kept just staring at me and my fiancé as if she couldn’t comprehend that we would share a bed? She asked so many times and questioned why we wanted to share a bed. I don’t know what to do? Should I ask for the manager int he morning? Or just hope a twitter rep for Hilton sees the tweet? Or do nothing at all and just accept it? (I’m not easily offended but I found this situation exatreamly uncomfortable) what do you think?
MillionMarkys 350
Definitely speak to the manager and local press. Isn’t London supposed to be one of the most diverse, accepting cities?
SlaeUrAnus 15,965
What room you guys booked has nothing to do with her. I would have told her to mind her own business. In my messy era.
Haz 82
London is one of the most liberal and accepting cities in the world. It’s so unfortunate that you’ve seen the 1% of narrow minded people in the city. Get on to the manager for sure when you're gone i'll still be bloody mary
Doncho 27,241
Talk to the manager and expose that woman, we dont need people like her in the world
AlexanderMagno 10,746
It shouldn't even matter if you're gay or not, the type of room you choose is not her business. Not that this attitude is that surprising. Homophobia is still a thing in Europe, even if we try to think or act otherwise. Since it's a somewhat respectable hotel, I think you should speak to the manager and leave a claim. Do it.
The Child 18,997
Go to the manager and make her lose her job! ‘If religion be the cause of disunity, then irreligion is surely to be preferred.’ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
HolyFool 782
Idk why that would be weird for her, even straight guys share a bed every once in a while...

Edonis 28,950
Go speak to the manager and leave a compliant. It is in no way, shape, or form any of her business to what kind of room/bedding arrangement you choose.Yikes.
Mirrion Rizzons 11,023
thats disgusting, I'm so sorry you had to experience that. I can tell you that london is a great and accepting place, although like anywhere, you'll have the selected few that are very close minded. Enjoy your stay in london and report her ass
