Leeo 2,366
Hello sweethearts how you doing? First of all sending love to all the European monsters for the last 10 shows. I know how hard it is to cope with the thunderstorm of feelings right now, how hard it is from emotinal-economic stands. Xx Let's get into thread content: Fibro will stop Lady Gaga from Touring? It's a simple answer: Not really. The Joanne World Tour was announced on February 6th 2017, the monday after her SuperBowl performance and included 2 american legs, 1 European leg & 1 solo Festival Performance in South America. In total, there were 60 dates running across ~4 months (and 18 days). Let's catch some factors that could make Gaga's condition worst: Body Rest Her longest break between these dates on the original run were: September 15, Rock In Rio - Rio de Janeiro \ September 22, Barcelona - Spain = 7 days break October 28 - Deutschland \ November 5, Indianopolis - USA = 8 days break Between the other dates, it was usually a 3\4 days break but including travelling, rehearsing and etc. After the post-ponned dates, her rest was from September til November and then returning the show for December \ January \ February. Right now it's being said that her Body Pain was already happening by the time the GRAMMYs happened, which Gaga performed while should be on a break for the European leg. Europe (performing) - USA (Grammy performance) - Back Europe (Performing) Let's take a look at 2014's artRAVE that ran across USA + Europe + Asia + Oceania 6 months and over 70 dates Spoiler June 3 - San Jose, CA (SAP Center at San Jose) \ June 30 - Boston, MA (TD Garden) August 9 - Vancouver, Canada \ August 13 - Tokyo August 16 - South Korea \ August 20 - Australia August 31 - Australia \ September 10 - Dubai These are the main breaks between legs etc, you can see the biggest one happened between North American Leg followed by the Oceania - European break We all know that also, during artRAVE, Gaga wasn't on the best moment of her life (mental Health), but still managed to perform over 70 shows without worst physical conditions. Joanne World Tour happened right after the SuperBowl performance and brough a new level into the game: Stadiums in North America. Gaga performed in Stadiums during BTWB and it's over 90 dates, but without these, the number of dates would probably go higher causing a bigger body(hip) damage back then. Stadium dates hold the same amount as, almost, 3 sold out arenas. Cold Weather Gaga was touring Europe in middle of Winter where the tempture can go below 0 is many countries. During artRAVE they toured across end of Spring + Summer + Autumn seasons (Gaga worst's health issue during artRAVE was bronchitis issue, postponed 2 dates) Joanne World Tour ran between end of Summer + Autumn + Winter. The original run was going to be during Autumn which is already colder but still possible to visit many places\doing festivals & the tour would be over by the early days of winter Rehearsals pressure As rumors stated before, the Joanne Word Tour rehearsals took time kinda late on the schedule and this resulted with one "Dive Bar" being even cancelled. https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop/7864989/lady-gaga-postpones-las-vegas-dive-bar-tour "She’s deep in rehearsals for her world tour and is working to reschedule a new date as soon as possible. She can’t wait to see all of you soon.” So, these are just a few points that could sadly make it harder for Gaga to keep going. We are no doctors or part of her team, it's truth, but most of us just wish her the best, right? and that's why I decided to kinda pick all this together and create this thread. - For my hopes, there will be more tours. Hopefully, they will all cross the continents around the "Warmer" seasons (Spring + Summer) and bigger venues will help gaga with less dates yet good public. There are places she probably won't really need a hit to sell stadiums out: New York, Chicago, etc. These cities were quick sold outs and could easily have another date (well, NY had another date but you guys get it, right?) but it was a way to cut many arena shows possible Back with BornThisWayBall, her run was across Asian Spring \ Oceania Winter(rarely dropping below 0)\ European Summer-Autumn \ South American Summer \ North American Winter (Hip injury got worst\canceled). To end this, It's not calling it messy, but it feels like the Joanne World Tour schedule could have been way more "organized" over her health issues, just like they took some extra steps with artRAVE because of the Hip recovery. In my personal opinion, it feels sometimes that they wanted to close the tour in 2017 without any possibility of making it last any longer as they wanted to be totally fresh for 2018. Sadly, not everything goes as we plan.
Noah 26,972
If she tours again, I want her to ditch the dancing and heavy Choreo. She ALWAYS had a talent to present so much more with just her stage presence and a few visuals. ⟡ ⋆ ˚。⋆🦢⋆ ˚。⋆⟡

The Fibro condition also gets better with Physical Exercise, so dancing could also help her body. Being sat on piano and travelling on the other hand may get the muscles to...hurt...for not moving
Fuffy 1,029
I hadn't considered the climate as a factor in affecting her ability to perform. Interestingly the weather in Spain and Italy didn't stop from performing, the weather there was pretty comfortable and mild for winter. But as soon as she arrived in the UK, which is pretty chilly right now, she fell ill. A lot of it comes down to physical and emotional stress. Too much dancing and travelling in winter in a different continent could easily bring it out in her. Hopefully she might adapt her schedules to slower regional tours, which I know would satisfy many of her fans outside of North America.
Phaye Monster 8,741
Hopefully if she ever tours again they’ll plan it around her health so she doesn’t have to cancel I'm an ARTPOP bitch, baby
MEDONER 1,676
Tbh I wouldn't mind trading the heavy choreo and stuff for a more back-to-the-roots burlesque-inspired style like the one she used to do with Starlight

For example, yoga or water exercises, or simply just short walks. But such strenuous exercise as dancing almost always makes it flare or worsen unfortunately. However not exercising and getting out of shape is also bad for fibro, so there's a balance to be had.

Yes, that what I meant with "Not heavy choreo" haha Stuff like The Cure that's more likely arms moving and not many complex movements could work and also the fact some performances do work without any heavy routine also helps. Bloody Mary for example was all about walking around and the stage setup and dancers
ShockPop 7,747
Cold weather hurts fibro like mad. Her schedule should hit warmer weather. She'll be able to tour as normal but one show per week would be fine.
ryanripley 86,575
i think she leave the dancing to the dancers, find something cool like a hologram to dance for her idk but basically all she has to do is stand and sing and look awesome https://goo.gl/xMgMvJ

TMB: Paparazzi, DitD. artRAVE: Gypsy Joanne: MR, Diamond Heart Like the bitch could just sit there and we'd all be shook to the core.
