That one was not friendly, no. But again, she clearly thought she could use that word when talking about people. She probably heard back people using it like that and assumed she could cause it made her feel cool. Young people do dumb **** like that.

Again, I hope she’s learned her lesson, but I think this is something that was a mistake, not a hateful racist thing.

So every 14 yr old says racist slurs? Is it just a phase that everyone goes through? I understand that people make stupid decisions at a young age, but not everyone says stuff like this. And just because other people are saying racist things doesn't mean it takes anything away from Camilla's own actions. And it's especially bad if the recent messages, that came after her apology, are real.

At age of 14 people says many worst thing, I was 14, you were, we all know what we said and what we did.. the knowledge of a 14 years old is minimal.. they are in between being kids and a teenagers.. I don't think we need to judge it and ruin her life over this.. this is the worst thing about the so called American culture.. the world is burning but we care about tweets of a 14 years old girl.. meh..

If adult and mature people are getting offended from tweets of a 14 years old girl that she tweeted them 6 years ago, we have a big problem with society.. and it's not that girl..

Saying ****** isn't a mistake. People should know better otherwise you're just stupid.

It’s not right, no. What I’m saying is she was young and hopefully has learned her lesson. I’m not saying it’s “good” I’m saying it’s at least better than her saying actual hateful things about a race with a clear hateful intention. Hopefully she has grown up and realized her mistakes!

You're basically saying that this is just a phase in people's lives.

I have a problem with anyone saying **** because it eventually becomes normal behavior or second nature for some people. Camilla probably won't be a member of the KKK anytime soon, but we all know that there are people who grow up saying things who eventually act on them as they grow older.

Again, I don't know what 14 year olds you hang with, but there are many who don't go using racist/homophobic slurs.
