but not everyone has that amount of discipline  thankfully, they are researching all sorts of theraputic ways and non-harmful alternatives to help keep them away from harming any children, through the use of VR technology etc

suicide is and has long been an absolute taboo in almost every major society and religion so I understand where you are coming from. but there is an argument in theological discussions that supports the idea of suicide as a valid approach to avoiding sin, in general. if that was his thinking, it could be justified morally. it's morbid, I know, but to take extreme measures to avoid hurting others can be righteous.

this. that is all. he pleaded guilty to it all. he didnt commit suicide because he was raped, or cuz someone violated him. he was the abuser. he did it cuz it was the easiest way out for him. it was an extremely selfish thing. he was a disgusting human being. many of his high school mates said he was a bully and an all around bad person. being a rape survivor myself i wont ever ever sympathize with him. it's like sympathizing with olympic doctor larry nassar who was recently convicted of sexually abusing more than 150 girls. no no no. what about the kids who he raped? what about the woman he raped? did he think about it when he actually did it? it's disgusting how everyone is sympathizing with him. i get that it is a mental disorder. but he acted on it. he didnt seek help. he raped kids, he raped them. this is not a traditional case of suicide. no sympathy from me. and i wont say rest in peace cuz he doesnt deserve it. my heart goes out to his family. they dont deserve this.

But when there a systems in place that are used to HELP these types of mental disorders, then suicide just seems barbaric. There’s a reason why pedophilia is considered a mental disorder in the scientific community. Why should we promote suicide when we can promote getting better? I just don’t understand y’all...

What makes me so mad now is that at this exact moment many kids are being raped by pedophiles, being filmed and the files are moving around between millions of other pedophiles who pays for them, this market is working well without stopping.

If most of the users in this topic who spent a few hours today to defend him, spent it on actually stopping pedophilia, things would be a bit better.. but no, a famous actor is more important..

 pedophilia isn't something that can be treated since it's a sexuality. I don't know how rehabilitation & things of the sort will help. 

OT: we can't argue whether if he deserved it or not because he did it to himself, it's his own choice. Part of his plea deal was giving $50,000 or something to each of the affect kids & they may not get it after he killed himself which sucks.

I’d feel sympathetic for him had he not downloaded all of that content plus sent manuals about having sex with children. Help those pedophiles who actually want help. I honestly believe he only committed suicide because he wanted to avoid jail. Not because he felt remote for his actions. He can rot.
