In less than 4 weeks I will see this b---h live.

I'm excited eventhough I have to say her attitude has put me off big time this area.

Same.

Does Madonna really not write her own lyrics? Is it true that she changes a word here or there of fully written material just to get a writing credit? :(

I personally don't believe this. I don't think anyone else would recycle "waiting" and "hesitating" as much had it not been her own creation, unless those r the words she adds to get that credit. :laughga:

I don't think she'd do that, but still, even if you do change one line, that does warrant a writers credit

Ask Beyonce tbh :laughga:

I think Madonna writes lots of her music or is at least present while writing. MDNA has some deep meaningful personal lyrics. But also lots of very unpersonal stuff. You just realized it's a mix of 3 different producers.

MDNA had too many differerent songwriters IMO. I think that album has the most co-writers/producers of any M album

But it would completely change my perspective of how I've always seen Madonna as a song writer tbh. I hope its not true, seems very deceptive. :laughga:

Sometimes she has simply changed demos written by others (Open Your Heart, Don't Tell Me, GGW) but she has written songs completely by herself, like Burning Up, Lucky Star, etc

:omg:

Ur telling me the songs u can tell me she has written solely by herself go all the way back to 1983 and her best songs and most recent r by someone else?

Song writing was always how I seperated Madonna to other pop stars like, for example, britney. :(

Well that ****ing sucks.

Please do not tell me American life was written by anyone else. :cryga:

I know her albums credit others in the song writing process, but madonnas name was always first and has always lead me to the conclusion she was the driver behind the creating process.

I hate hearing this.

This is like finding out Santa clause is not real or that Gaga didn't write born this way. :laughga:

That's one of her albums with the fewest amount of writers: Madonna, Mirwais Ahmadzaï, Guy Sigsworth, Jem Griffiths, Stuart Price and Monte Pittman.

On "MDNA," the only songs that Madonna simply reworked are "Girl Gone Wild," "Gang Bang," and "Love Spent."

Thank God.

It's easy to tell that Madonna writes most of her own lyrics, if only by how much she recycles them. Sorry, I meant "references herself".
