Gaga said that ARTPOP was the end of the beginning of her career, actually Joanne feels like it is.

Time will tell sis. Let's see how done and tired she is.

ASIB is coming, LG6, Vegas...

ASIB could flop.( I don't want it to, but it could flop guys.)

LG6 is not confirmed, at all. #2018RadioIsOurs could have been a joke, not about Gaga, or about a song on ASIB, or even just a one-offer like The Cure. In no way does that actually confirm LG6 is coming anytime soon.

And Vegas isn't until almost 2019 and even that is not something I'm really happy about. I hope it get's cancelled tbh.

For the fifteenth time in this thread....I never said this had anything to do with her winning or losing a Grammy. I said it had to do with her performance, her vibe, and her aura. I could just read her face and it seemed like she was done for a while. I feel like if she would have won she would have said legit "goodbye" somehow in her speech tbh

I couldn't read her face because she was all pulled and botoxed so much you couldn't even see her eyes, very pulled.  She couldn't show any emotion. I hated what she did to her face.  My sister said the same thing about her face and eyes.

How is she done?  She will have a movie soundtrack coming out, a movie, a two-year residency, and I'm sure she will do another album.

Maybe that's why her voice sounded so weirdly strained tonight. Like...it was yanking on her throat muscles. She was singing out of her throat, too. For the first time in my life, I thought....that note....that is very flat. And there is no ending vibrato in it to correct it either. I've never reacted that way to her before. It was weird. I thought she was just emotional at first, but then she kinda sounded stuffed up. But the filler makes more sense cuz that can screw with your nodules.

You mean she was sad performing Joanne with Mark who helped her write it and MR, and performed it in front of her dad? Yeah, that sounds emotionally moving when you factor in the fact that she's also currently touring WW. That sounds exhausting af. So I think it was really just that lol People read way too much into **** looking for drama. Don't worry, she's not her without performing.

Yeah because Poker Face and Alejandro immediately make me ask questions and seem like interesting concepts for a pop record.

"Why do you do that to me?" is obvious, boring, and....sounds like something that's been said in every Chainsmokers song I've heard.

But tell me...was the beat good? Did it sound like radio friendly? Or was it....very "movie sountracky". ya feel?

It reminded me very much of The Cure in its general direction. Had a very harmonic glass tinged sounding piano. The beat kicks in for the chorus and it has these great chimes in it. Her vocals were great too, the lyrics don't seem like much, but her delivery is key in selling it - her styling on the vocals was like Bad Romance and The Cure combined. It had a lot of energy. Choreography looked great. The verses and the bridge were very good, I just wish I remembered more of the lyrics, she had a good cadence for them. It didn't feel like a soundtrack song to me - it felt like a modern take on 90's RnB/Pop.

It’s irrelevant if it’s a flop. You asked what’s next and people are telling you.  ASIB is one of the things that is coming.

I don't like all the doom & gloom in this thread... And I don't think Gaga is "done" or "tired" or even slowing down... But I can't say it is all perfect and shiny on her side.

I'm glad Joanne era is officially over now. I don't listen pop music that often, am a more glam rock/art rock/britpop kind of a listener, aka Bowie, Kate Bush, Suede, T.Rex, Roxy Music, Klaus Nomi etc. But I really really deeply in love with Gaga. She's my underdog and I like to piss all the pretentious listeners with my compliments about Gaga. What she did between Fame Monster and ARTPOP was extraordinary. Misunderstood, yet beyond the metrics.

I didn't like Joanne at all.  I mean, when I want to listen "stripped-down" music, I have a huge playlist with all the sad songs from Suede to Marc and the Mambas to Kate Bush. Personally, I rather prefer "Older" kind of full-blown dramatic albums from pop singer turns serious periods. Joanne was too fragmental, and it lacked true melodies, it felt flat. It is my personal taste, for sure. But I like what Joanne did to Gaga's career. I wish her moment of serenity was full of richer melodies, but oh well, she's trying and she is still young, I am sure she is going to find her deepness with the slower side of the music. And I can understand that she is tired and exhausted, her meteoric rise was something hard to deal with, it is okay to lose your demons for a while, aka Bowie from Scary Monsters to the end of the 90s. Joanne era has a lot of exciting moments and I counted those moments as promises for the future.

I'm glad Joanne's narrative is over. I want Gaga to find her demons again. She's a legend now, for sure, but she needs to musically evolve into something exciting again. I can't write a formula for success, and there is not one way to archive it, and she is the only one who is going to figure that out, because I'm the public, because she's the artist.

But I have two worries on the road: Vegas residency and ASIB. Why? Because both those projects sound "stiff". I don't want to spend her time with the old ways. Yes, she can surprise us and reinvent those areas both I think her art needs to find new and independent grounds. I am afraid that both Vegas and ASIB will trigger the kitsch factor.

As I said before, I don't think there is one way to go to success. She can come back with an all ballads album and top the world. All she needs is exciting, new, grand ideas. But also, yes, she needs a hit. Duet with Adele? Full blown pop dance song? A streaming monster? Yes, why not? All i want from her to something more layered out, focused, tailored hit, a shot of urgency and freshness.

Everyone praised her voice, enough with over-vocaling. Today's Grammy performance was golden, yet, I don't find it necessary. I would rather not see her performing. Yes, it was a decent end for Joanne era but again, I am afraid that Joanne era will followed by Vegas and ASIB in most kitsch ways. She is a legend, but she shouldn't be ready to slow down her artistic curiosity. I would rather see her in search of a good producer to explore something new.

Because when she feels like she found something exciting and new, I am sure she will be hungry to explore it to the world again, with her best plan of attack.

A lot of nominated artists didn’t win Grammys tonight. Many of those artists are already a lot more “over” than Gaga will ever be.

I feel sad... I mean will she bring back Joanne during the LG6 tour?

Like, Joanne will be gone forever?
