the pop industry is designed to make temporary pop stars, milk them for all they are worth, and then throw them away when the next young pretty thing comes around.

If Gaga want's to escape that mess, more power to her.

She probably also would like to leave bitchy fans that complain in public that her lovers aren't pretty enough for their taste.

i wouldn't be shocked if gaga retired after seeing this thread saying ASIB will flop, the music already sucks without hearing it and hoping she cancels vegas

Is Gaga over? Yea..I think so. She had her time. She was on her peak.

But I think beeing over or on top are things that can change. Who knows- maybe she will have (major) success sometimes?

This is so dramatic. You know there are legendary artists out there who have never won a Grammy? At all? Gaga has won six times. She isn't over because she didn't win last night - Gaga isn't owed Grammy awards. You all should be thankful that she was nominated twice last night, and look at the year as a whole as a success, which it has been. And it's been different from her previous years because she's growing up as a person and an artist. This year wasn't a failure, it was brilliant enough to basically bring me back to being a stan. Stop being so dramatic and entitled and chill out.

I dont think Gaga is over at all, sure she'll take a break. Also, shes definitely on Britney's level as far as status goes, not Madonna. Yet. She's respected over all by her peers and in the industry. I would say she'll be much bigger than Britney and will be right up there with Madonna if she keeps it up.
