Paparazzi Bad Romance Joanne original or acoustics are all great. That’s because of good songwriting and her vocal capabilities.

I would be here for an album of "piano-ed" old songs and maybe two or three new ones, but not an entirely new album

Good point, but the majority of tracks that she wrote starting from the fame were written first using the piano. It is kind of a coincidence that Dope and Million Reasons, two great ballads, are repetitive for the kind of style she's going for, but I don't think we have enough of material so far to make assumptions about her writing credibility.

All you have to do is look at these to see where Gaga magic truly lies... great songs+ piano led music+Gaga vocal interpretation  = fantastic performances.   Personally I'd love her to really work on the piano arrangements of her own material and concentrate mostly on great songwriting.  I know she can do it.
