I'm happy that she made this the final single because it is the best way to close out the Joanne Era. I decided to be overly sentimental and make a video reaction to it. Electric Mary 1,051 Posted January 26, 2018 Share Posted January 26, 2018 I never gave much value to that song,always thought "oh, a cute ballad, so nice" but after losing my aunt as well in October, it changed everything to me, I can literally feel the pain in her soul singing that song , such a pure song. Love your grandmas, aunts, kiss them hug them and spend time with them, go to her house everyday if you can and give her a kiss, or a hug, show her that you're here for her , i could have gave her more value than i did and now...well...its too late guys. The end with Natali is my favourite part. The briefest moment but it’s so comforting and happy to see. I am sooo ready for her Grammy’s performance. I love the segments of her running about in her long pink dress barefoot through the woods. This whole thing just hits you right in the feels. It's amazing how far Gaga's come in a decade. I didn't think when I first listened to her that she'd one day come out with something like this. I can't wait for her to sing this at the Grammys. I just hope the views keep rising. I fear her fans don't see this as a single and therefore, don't see the point in re-watching it or streaming it, the same way that they did for John Wayne. Every Gaga video matters, everyone, official single or not. So pleased to see it's currently at #14 on US itunes, though, that's a great sign! It's also charting in Canada, UK, Australia, Belgium, Ireland, Sweden, Russia, France, Italy etc. It's currently at #3 in Brazil! They must have really missed her not performing at Rock In Rio! It's also #3 in Sweden and #2 in Spain. Perhaps touring in Europe right now was the best timing. I think it's a shame some online commenters didn't get it and think she's lost the plot, mourning the aunt she's never meant. I bet if this were a legendary respected artist doing this, (the running through the woods segment was very Kate Bush), the concept would have been immediately understood and universally praised as a piece of high art. Some people just have no souls and think everything a modern artist does must be for attention or sympathy. I hope Gaga wins a Grammy next week to spite them all.
