Dope requires a specific mood to enjoy, but it is a really good song by itself. It’s thousand times more powerful than the lighter work on ARTPOP; say Donatella, MANiCURE, Gypsy, etc

Dope is one of the most powerful songs in her catalog and the production is outstanding.    Listen on a good system and it sounds like she's playing piano in the room with you.

Listening to Dope after years made me appreciate it. I’m glad she changed it. She produced one of the most emotionaly charged and genuine song of her career.

Its no secret that Gaga loves her little monsters with every fiber of her being and "dope" is essentially her way of saying "please forgive me little monsters. You are my world and if you ever left me, it would be so devastating idk if I'd ever recover". Gaga without her monsters is like salt without pepper ♥️

I honestly think that a good and positive and less dark song on ARTPOP would have helped A LOT the album flow. 

I always loved IWBWY, and as long as I love Dope, I have to say I prefer IWBWY a lot more. It is solar, happy, or at least those are the feelings I get when I hear it.

Dope gave us that cringey performance of Gaga at the YouTube something awards where she cries all the time and just has terrible vocals. And I know you are all gonna come for me cuz of this, but that's one of the only performances of Gaga that I absolutely can't stand. It feels SO forced, like if she really wanna cry just for cameras and to seem relatable and sad and everything. We've seen Gaga cry sometimes on stage, while reading fans letters or even now in FF2 and it's pretty clear she was forcing herself to cry in that performance. That's my humble opinion, fight me 

Imagine the slayage of a IWBWY live performance with an avant-garde piano like the jimmy fallon one. Imagine the slayage, people. Imagine. /thread
