Katy is doing a smaller venue here in Chile, why can't Gaga do that? In some places in Europe and US, they couldn't even fit the whole stage and are saying "YOU GUYS DONT SELL OUT" when they have us try and fill stadiums. She isn't the first artist to do this, and it's not like she hasn't gone to other countries with previous tours. She is literally touring an AMERICANA album. STOP. Here in Mexico, for example, Katy's songs are played a lot, and Gaga's songs are not. And on SBHTS day I read a lot of comments about people who preferred Katy over Gaga. They assumed after Prism and its tour, that Witness was going to be another big era for her. As it turns out, they called it wrong. She can only sell just over half an arena now. We're talking about a 106 date arena tour for an album that only sold 840k worldwide, she's obviously struggling. Not one of the few dates reported back so far has sold out, not even the bare minimum sales. Gaga's selling out the same venues that Katy played and making a bigger gross while she's at it, so how is she losing? Gaga also didn't have to resort to 2 for 1 deals, $10 tickets and multiple ticket giveaways. Katy's first 40 US dates made $28 milllion. Gaga's 40 US dates sold $85 million. It got upgraded due to high demand. Are you sure you didn't just read the word "arena" and assume it was a smaller venue? Remember that in foreign languages, the word "arena" can be used to refer to stadiums. As much as I think this tour is flopping, I just thought this must be corrected.
